Is 900 watts to much?

3 ft by 2 ft 8 inches. Or 8.4 square feet. I have a 300 watt LED and im getting 2 more, just wondering if thats to much for such a small space. If not, they get 900 Watts.

It depends on the LEDs - wattage is not a proper way of judging LEDs despite of what some of these 'experts' would tell you. But it is a very small space for 900W of anything just about. I have 2 x 350W LEDs covering 8'x4' space just fine. If they are quality LEDs you should be fine with just two. But it's hard to tell without more info on the LEDs themselves. I've seen people on here using aquarium LEDs and then wonder where they went wrong....lol,

It's difficult to give your plants too much light as long as you have the heat under control, which shouldn't be an issue with LEDs.

This is correct. However, I have a Blackstar 240w and they do put off more heat than one would think. Keep the heat in check like Saucy says, with good airflow, and you'll be golden.

Heat is not an issue. The room isnt insulated well and its cold out so i have a heater kick on if it drops to low. They are ebay china LEDs. Dont have the money to buy quality yet. I was more asking if 900 was a waste and if i should make another room for the 3rd 300w.

You could always get a bigger space if you want to get the full benefit of all 3 LEDs. Just another option instead of not using all 3 if you already purchased them.

Clone/mom area, and set yourself up a little perpetual ;)

One would be plenty for a small mom or two, and a bunch of clones.
