is 5 26watt and 4 14 watts bulbs enough for 2'×4' room

So I'm a newb but have been doing a lot of research and my seeds are on their way. I have four 14w cfl bulbs and 5 26w cfl bulbs. My grow room is 2'×4'. I am planning on mainly growing autoflower 2 at a time. I'm curious as to if this is enough lighting or not. I have four of the 26w cfls and 3 of the 14w cfls directly above where my plants will be and on each side of these I can hang down at any height one 26w and one 14w cfls. What are you alls suggestions? I have attached some pictures for visual aid. Thanks.

IMHO no, not even close to be worth screwing with. You'll get some grams, but get a 400W HID to make some bud.

Surely you can get away with growing with those lights, i only use 4 cfls on each plant for a while then just add more when they get bigger. There's also alot of empty space in my closet, considering yours is a smaller area i think it would work..... What do you mean he shouldn't even try it? He needs to start somewhere, and i think cfls are a great way to get an idea of how the shit grows because of how cheap they are.

i don't get you guys pushing hid's. he asked if this would work and the answer is a definite yes. is more light and more intense light better yes. these buds are rock hard just like every bud i have produced under cfl's so thats a myth/lie. pulled 10 ounces out of a 2x2 room in 8 months.
sure hid would have produced more but then i would a tougher time cooling.
not everyone can afford hid's and cost of running them. i say go for it and good luck.
i grew a pineapple express mid summer with heat stressing it.(90 in my box everyday for atleast 2 hours) under very similar lights and pulled 1.5 ounces.
2 biggest buds weighed 7 g's each this is one i still have cured at 3 months.

believe me if i could have a giant grow room all setup with hid, co2 and be able to grow 2-3 pound plants i would.
but not all of us have that luxury so we do what works to get buds.:bigjoint:
not trying to be rude or any of the above just spreading the truth.

i had 425 watts in a 2'x2'x4' box, making some changes, but i'm not going to waste the lights i already have. cfls will do what you need, find flamingpie's thread, she grows some mean shit for cfls. bob is right, if it is all you have, just do it, you'll find what works best for you.

yeah, i'd have to agree that CFLs work fine and being cheap you can add wattage as you can afford it, ...Y splitters help with this.

...btw, these are all 23 and 26watt bulbs which can almost always be found in 4 packs for under $10.00 and if you look i'd bet you'll also find a $3.00 rebate form which often brings the cost down to $1.00 per bulb, ...so with 26watters that's 104watts for $4.00 bucks.

peace, bozo

go for it man, i am doing my first grow and going the cfl route also,

will you be able to add more lights later in the grow, if so then you will be fine….

I have read in places that 200w per plant is what some recommend…. but experiment yourself see how ya go but the more light you can have in there the better….

good luck man….

Here is my CFL's grow. The big one has 6 32 watt CFL's and the others are in SOLO cups and I have a 8 CFL's light fixture I mad with a DIY reflector. The first 7 pics are my SOLO cup grow and the rest are my big girl. All 4 weeks into flowering.
