I have a "few" Epic Buzz pheno clones growing in 3 gallon pots. I imagine there root bound so I have a few questions? Can I keep top dressing with Gaia Green and using teas and be fine throughout the full grow? I want to veg another month and i dont want them being root bound to hurt my end yield. I have enough 5g pots or 7g pots to house them but im limited on room in my 5x5 for larger pots especially because of the risers and trays which i think is 12-13" diameter. Anyways whats your thoughts on whats best?

3 gal is fin with coco but if your in soil you will definitely want to transplant before flower at the minimum.

It can be done with liquid nutrients but it’s a pain to try and balance them. I kind of think shooting for an ounce per gallon of soil is about right.

Not growing in coco, im growing in promix, castings and Gaia green amendments and a periodic tea. What size do you recommend going from the 3 gallon pots?

Also is there an additive I can use so watering absorbtion is better when the soil drys out. Alot of times until it gets wet, it will run down sides of plastic pots untill it all gets moist

Ideally if you’re gonna veg for a month you would transplant to the 5 gal and then into the 7 gal right before flowering. Usually in soil the bigger the pot the better.

You dont want to let promix get that dry you can grow a tree in 3 gal pot of promix no different than hydro or coco if you are on top of ya game. Hope you got trays under the pots for good runoff?

I use aloe plant or Castile soap for wetting. And it’s a lot of watering to keep up. Water slowly and let any runoff sit for a bit or water top and bottom then remove excess.

Anything can be done anyway ya want to do it! Thats how you learn what to do and what not to do! Most folks that grow in smaller pots like a varity of strains, or like lighter pots for lifting!
