Its more common with Blurpurple light sources, but I have experienced it myself on some strains even with white light, so can say it does happen.I've had a single plant in DWC ScroG with a couple dozen branches tied down and literally a 100+ colas on it and never witnessed that. Never heard of that in all the thousands of posts I've read over the last 10+ years in forums either. Not saying it's not a thing but it's not a thing I've ever noticed.
My one plant DWC ScroG from years back. Train wreck x White Widow. 8 oz of dry bud and the same in popcorn and sugar trim. Best single plant yield I ever got in 20 years.
