you bet you can show others... I would be honored!! here is a raw link: http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd361/stoneyluv2/DSCN2859.jpg

I'll update her once a week or so for ya!!! I have high hopes for this girl.... and like I said she is sitting directly under the panel... she is dangerously close at moment, at about 6" from the glass. This is why i really need a new grow space.... looks like I'll make it this week coming up!!

I know you were pondering the four 290's. I never thought of six 180's. the 290's sound simpler but like you said having more smaller panels gives you more flexibility... probably more core saturation area too!!! Thats a lot of light bro... I'd love to see that in action!!!
wow 6"? that's really close but it seems to be working. 6 of the 180's would be 1080w of leds just 80w more then i am running now. the 4x290's would be 1160w. but if i do 6 plants each plant can have its own 180w.

man, a plant to have a 180 all by herself!!!! now that is something to really think about. the panels are made to evenly distribute all the spectrum's. and when you share a panel with multiple plants they might not all get the full potential of all of the spectrums... where as having a 180 per plant would absolutely be providing the exact amount of each spectrum the way the company designed it to be. plus each plant would be absorbing light from the "center saturation area" that GLH lists. I believe the 180 is 1.8 x 1.5, that could be the perfect amount for a single plant.

It's a bit more setup work but i bet it would pay off big time!! i just can't imagine the amount of resin that plant would produce!!!

i would get 3x180s because thats more core foot print all spread out real nice over a foot print. but to be honest i am not sure if the 3x180s would be better or the 2x290's ive been wondering the same question. i am thinking the 180's are the way though?

ill have some pics tomorrow of the girls after they wake up from their 36hr nap/dark time. hope this works, i mean their starting to flower i see hair shooting out the sides but just lagging and being real slow. hoping this 36hr nap will flip that switch to them and let them know what time it is.

good new i was able to get some extra ducting and run my intake so its blowing right under my plants instead of off to the corner and able to mess around with a few options with airflow and got my room from 96F to 89F in a few minutes. these are night time temps, all day it was 106F outside and the room was about 100F. but being able to get the room to drop 7F is a great help.

got then to drop 10F now buy playing around with the intake hose and fans. to night is a very hot night and most nights are not as bad, their still bad but not quite this bad. so once the night temps cool down a bit i should be good to go. the girls are getting just fresh are from out side blown all over then with the added vent hose, i have it blowing right threw the canopy from the bottom and a few fans mixing it in. i keep messing with the ducting and i find sweet spots that cools things down more and more. 96F to 86F is great.

Glad to hear you are getting some temp drop. Hopefully that will be enough to trigger some real flowering! Maybe you could run some 10/14 light schedule so they get more dark time and that can speed up flowering? I did that before and it moved things along quicker but obviously lose a little weight in the end.

Here are a few pics of some of my casey jones I just finished under spectra 180w in my 4x4 tent. Came out amazing and my cell phone doesn't do it justice

irish how do you like the vf11 ? i started using it solely about 2 weeks ago and i am very impressed with it so far. i was loking for a product to simplify my grow and it seems to be doing the trick. no signs of defficiency through vedge. i just flipped the switch on 4 and i am excited to see what this stuff will do in flower...

ya i did 10/14 last summer. since temps are down i think i am going to stick with 12/12 for right now, i did just give them 36hr of dark time. if 12/12 dont do the trick by next week i will drop the lights to 10/14

dude u have to tease me with those pics.lol. dude ive been wanting to smoke this strain forever, just hasnt been working out for me with this strain.lol

i am no longer using it. it worked great but at the end i think Dyna Gro is better and cheaper and just as simple so i stuck with that. i think VF-11 is a great thing for me when their very young though and it wont burn them. at the end it just reminded me of water way too much. ive seen it grow some amazing plants that were in foxfarm soil, but was never sure if it was mainly the soil? i am pretty sure i figured out their secrete, its just a very very mild nute and way too many people over feed their plants and they figured that out and so with this stuff u cant over feed since its so week and it makes u grow some good plats IMO.

they say its best to use alone and i would do just that. i dont think its really mixing to good with other things. please please do keep me posted on ur grow and hot it dose?

here what ive seen VF-11 do in foxfarm soil.

absolutely. im more of a lurker then a poster. i am not a novice by any means. my last grow was a very successful grow using nothing but organic teas and one of my best crops i have ever had. i stumbled across a few threads outside the mmj community and people were raving about vf11. i started using it on one plant and it looked great. i work 70 hours a week and was looking for something to simplify my grow without sacrificing to much quality. so far i am very impressed with the vf11. flowering will uncover its true potential. i am growing in pro mix and only adding some mykos and carbs from time to time

i here u, organic is one of my fav but like u i dont have time to be brewing teas. ive read those forums u talk of and allot of people love it. i also like ur key word "sacrificing quality" thats what i am all about and were on the same page. promix is a great medium to test things out on because theirs no food in it like organic soil so we can learn how well VF-11 dose? very cool my friend please do keep me posted time to time even if u rather PM me or whatever. ive been wondering about this stuff for a while, and during veg i had no issues with it, i just liked the dyna gro better.

how are those temps doing? I got a confirmation from GLH today and I am getting another 180 shipped to me soon!!! I even went and bought the supplies to make my new cabinet and started to construction today!!!

it's crazy how we are on different problems... your temps are high, so you are changing your vents up to make it cooler.... My basement never goes over 70F, so I am always trying to warm my cabinet up!!!

today/night is very hot my room is around 90F right now.

as far as ur adding heat thing look into those reptile IR lamps. i have info on those in my organic grow. they put off nice heat and wont jack ur bill up like a heater will. its not good for large area but smaller ones they work great. they put off no light.

They look really good man!!! they do not look heat stressed at all. can't wait to see some buds!!!! Thanks for the reptile light tip. I looked into them, and they just might do the trick! I'll have to wait till winter time to see how my new cabinet does.

keep it up bro!!

WOW! You have a lot of views/posts! I'm interested in LED tech too. My grow is still half clear in the flower stage with a mixture of: CFL 2700K/3000K/4100K + 6x12" Red CCFL for PC case modding + 2xT12 40w 4100K + Xenon 2x55W 4300K HID... the point is: experimentation leads to experience, even if they tell you otherwise... Looking good ^_^
