Good morning everyone:
My initial post back in June was with regards to harvesting Dr Green thumb's Iranian Short Season. This strain is an auto, but from all my research not a Rudlelias (SP) strain. The Iranian Short Season is a pretty cool plant and strain. I bought a 1000 of these seeds from the Doc earlier in the year.
The Iranian Short Season is a very unique and fun plant to grow and watch. The plants in the pictures were grown inside under 24 hour light till they were about 18 inches tall. The way this strain works, and I do not confess to be an expert but rather an enthusiast it can veg almost indefinitely under 24 hours of light and either by changing it's light schedule or putting them outside as is the case with these ones, they immediately go into flower.
I messed up by one day in that the day I put them outdoors, that night there was a frost and where they were located in the low lying marsh land, they were all iced up the next morning. It took a couple three weeks for these babies to recover from their deep freeze. Had I put them out one day latter I can only imagine how big they really could have gotten.
This year we wanted to grow in addition to the Iranian Short Season a bunch of Iranian G13. When we placed our order, they were unfortunately out of stock.
Instead we ended up growing and cloning a bunch of Iranian Chemdawg, Iranian Chemo and the new Pure G13, the Doc was able to produce in feminized seed.
My heart was always wanting to grow the Iranian G13, as it is ready by the end of August has a tremendous potency, and the yield is out of this world, and it' ease to clone. The Iranian G13 is not an Auto, but a rather early finisher. An early finisher and a big yielder, and with super potency is a no brainer !!! Get these babies all pulled down before rippers and copters come out, it just doesn't get any better than this !!!
So i have been watching Dr. Greenthumb's website almost on a daily basis since February in hopes of the Doc's Iranian G13 coming back into stock. My hope was it would come back in stock earlier enough in the season, so I could get a grow under my belt before we go all out next grow, but it didn't come back in stock in time this season to do so. But we all know the saying, better late than never.
The Doc's Iranian G13 however did come back in stock this past week. I jumped all over it, and purchased a bunch of seeds. I am now good for my 2012 grow.
I noticed some fellow posters were asking what the plants shown in the original post yielded, so I responded. And at the same time in responding I wanted to share with everyone who has been paying attention to this thread that the Iranian G13 was now in stock after being out of stock for seven months, and if anyone like myself had been waiting patiently for it to return to stock, it had and now was the time to purchase them before they are out of stock.
I have done a significant amount of research over the past 12 months. Dr Greenthumb's strains are something real special, and for where we live they are a perfect match for what we are looking for and wanting to achieve.
In my research I have read more than one post the Doc's gear is expensive. HOG WASH, expensive my butt !!! In this crazy world we live in one gets what they pay for. Doc's stuff is amazing. He has something for everyone.
In closing here, if you want a real amazing bad ass strain for next year Google " Dr Greenthumb Iranian G13 " do your due diligence in researching all you can about this strain and you too will find yourself on the phone ordering this strain, that is, if your lucky enough to be among the purchasers before this strain is out of stock.
One last thing, I grow because I enjoy growing, it puts a smile on my face, so when I read some people's negative outlooks on life, and their need to inflict their negativity onto others, I just can't help but feel sorry for their existence. I just ordered 50 0f them, and 55 came. Per each order of 10, the good Doc throws in the 11th for free. Real stealth shipping. I received my order in 6 days from placing my order. I have purchased in excess of 1100 feminized seeds from Dr. Greenthumb and not one has ever hermied on me.

as far as i can tell the only place to get any of dr greenthumbs seeds is to order directly from him at drgreenthumb.com someone correct me if im wrong please. i am also interested in getting my hands on his iranian short season, iranian g13 and his other iranian crosses, the og kush and chemdawg if possible for my next outdoor grow, they have the perfect combo of yield, potency and quick finish for fighting against new englands end of grow season frost, and to help prevent late season thieves!!!!!!

also anyone heard of his sweet 105 autflower, same grow timetable as iranian short season, little lower yield though, says it has a great taste though! And the seeds are also cheaper.....
So Docs website says outdoors they reach a height of 3-4 '. Getting three pounds off of a four foot plant is impressive if true.
These would be perfect for me. There are hundreds and hundreds of acres of cornfields around me I can not use because the farmer harvests the corn early. Today is Sept 5th, and he just started yesterday taking his corn down. If I can get something like this that finishes towards the end of August Id be golden for that area.
