You're right, forgot about August. Even still, I don't buy it.

Tell us more about this grow. Pots or ground? How much soil and sun? You said 8oz was the average, so I am assuming some of them produced even more?

I guess it is possible, I'm just getting a little tired of these amazing Doc grows with no pictures. Sodalite's grow from a few years back is literally the only Iranian Auto grow on this forum from start to finish that I am aware of, for example. And btw I don't doubt his results I talked with him frequently while he was still active here.

Just saying, this is what your average Doc thread looks like.

Like I said. Id did the Iranian g13. Not the autoflower.
They were in 3x3 holes of promix. Dyna grow nutes. Full sun all day. Literally nothing obstructing direct sunlight.
I only grew 4 of that strain. I never weighed individual plants but I remember the total well because is was a disappointing season and I was conting my losses.
The holes and everything was meant for well established plants to go into them the first of june but the exhaust fan in my grow room quit and fried most of my first batch.
Im really suprised that you doubt that. Thats really nothing special outdoors in that time frame.
Once again ill remind you that THIS WAS NOT THE AUTOFLOWER.
There are also shitloads of grow journals online with both these strains.
I didnt take pics last year because I was busy with a new kid and not very active on the boards. If you want picture confirmation that I can grow some halfway decent plants look at my pictures in the delicious northern light blue thread.

James, I'm guessing you grew 10 or 11...did you grow them all in one tight area or have them spread out? . Can you let me in on an estimation of what the specific overall placement of them was? How big were the patches, how far were they spread apart? etc. Thanks man

I only had four of irg13 and they were in the same area as some other strains. Probably a 50' x50'x50' area. I never really smelled them until I got close though. My sense of smell isnt the best though.
When I hung them up to dry at home the smell was bad though. My garage had a perma funk for a month after they were out of there and I smelled them as soon as I pulled in the driveway.
Hoe that helps some. It seemed to stink a lot worse after it was harvested

Fair enough man. I think I might have came out on the wrong foot and for that I apologize. I am in no way doubting your ability as a grower. I realize they weren't the autos, I just threw those thread in, which do contain some of his other strains, just as examples of how a lot of Doc threads don't have many pics if any and usually never get finished. In all honestly, it's more out of frustration. I've been interested in a few of his strains for awhile, but I can't find many full, detailed outdoor grows. With the price of his beans and all the good reviews I read I would like to see more. That's all. I'm actually thinking about trying the Iranian Auto myself this year too.

The way I grow is very similar. Promix in similar sized holes with similar nutes. For me to get that weight of 6" plants I would need to start them the first of June. Then again, I don't have full, unobstructed direct sunlight. It's all good man. :blsmoke:

are you going to post pics of the grow?..a buddy just started germing some iranian autoflowers, im trying to get him to take pictures of the outdoor grow with these because theres not many threads with detailed info. but hes a bit sketchy when it comes to pictures. started them in a wet paper towel inside of a ziplock about 48 hrs ago and they just started to show their tap root. does anyone know else find it "different" that the DOC's planting guide says to plant with the pointed end and tap root pointing "UPWARDS"? ive always planted beans with the tap pointing down.

sonar it is laughable most ppls true weight vs wet seeded (molded) bud. that plant is 3oz in my book which is good. it is ok for me to tell the truth and be realistic. ever seen the 6+ lb grape krush put out in july? if it was 2 real lbs that is excellent. oh well it is like the jews measuring there pekers:blsmoke:

By the way, his Endless Sky blows. Worst grow I had in years. Wispy, hay like shit with no odor. People laughed at me when I showed them it. The Doc reported on RIU after being pushed, that he lost the original mother and was basically starting over. The plant used to be done in 45days and was now taking 10-11 weeks. THen I went looking and found numerous others with the same complaints as mine........it used to be good, now it sucks.

I have grown both its parents IAF and G13, both will flower when put outside regardless of the light period(even at 15 hours) when using clones. I love this strain for indoor g13,it's the best but outdoor it's fucking pissed me off the stunted plants in my nice holes in my safe patches est for years. Wish he had stated that g13 will flower without vegging even in mid summer, cost me a fortune 2 years running, never again.

Also the iranian/g13 cross will also do this from clone without a doubt.

Don't forget, you can clone the IAF. So you can actually get quite a few plants from one seed.

He is on the michiganmedicalmarijuanagrowers dot net forum with an official presence. Offered the community with experience some free seeds to do a journal. The last one left was an IMPROVED Iranian G13 Outdoors. If anyone is interested perhaps you guys should contact him if you are going to do a journal. Haven't checked to see if anyone scooped it up.

i have grown them the last 2 years outdoors and they are my best outdoor crops. finnished by the end of September in northern Indiana

This strain is currently out of stock...should be back in stock the end of the month according to Doc's website. I already have 5 of his g13 going and 5 of the Iranian auto's. Going to be turning a few of these plants into feminized seed by way of colloidal silver treatment. Can't wait to see what the result of my labors will be at the end of the year.

I'm not a rocket scientist or anything so I could be off in my thinking, but I am quite sure that the seeds from the "re-selfed" plants will exhibit more vigorous growth than the clones I will be growing alongside of them. At any rate, I'll report back at the end of the year as all 5 IG13's I have going now will be turned into mothers. The majority of the cuts from these mothers will be vegged and put outdoors when the time is right. The rest of the cuts will be turned into self pollinated seed bearing females. The seeds will be used to produce plants for side by side comparisons to see which method produces more vigorous growth. I also will be doing the same with an equal amount of Iranian Autoflower. 10/10 germ rate so far. All IG13's germed within 24 hours, all IAF's germed within 48 hours.

Went to their site and checked them out!
Mid August to mid Sept harvest..1-3 pounds...Wow.Excellent frost resistance in both spring and fall.Hmmm.
Looks like I am going to have to get some of these for a far north grow I am planning.
8 oz per plant,Works good for me.With more time maybe a pound or better?Definitely worth a shot!
