iPOWER Grow Lights

Had some break on me but they were well within the 2 year warranty so I sent them back to get another pair.

I don't know if they just updated their models, or Amazon is selling the old broken ballasts and iPower is still moving new ballast on other chains.
The ballast I got back was a completely different model and ballast then the last. When I plugged it into the same socket and light the light output was at least 1-2x more than the last ballast.
It is now WAY brighter than I've ever seen it, and the fan is a bit louder but it's moving so much more air in the ballast. The ballast itself is a big larger than the last as well.

I'm thinking of RMAs my other two units just to get the newer model and see how it is.
This is for 400W Digital from iPower Grow Lights from Amazon.

I bought 2 ipower 1000w ballasts of ebay in the light package with bulbs and hood. 1 worked but when I tried to hook up both at the same time it didn't work idk why but they work not bad ballasts.

I have had great luck with ipower running 2 600w over 2 years now no problems at all great ballast for the $$. How old are the ones you are considering sending back ? I'm wondering if I have the same thing.

Mine was brand new off amazon $100 for 400w hood, hangers, both bulbs, and ducting.
It had water damage from my fault not them.

I'm not saying ipower is bad, they are very good.
The thing is the last 400W ballast I sent in, is completely different from my current 400W ballast they sent me.
It's like a updated model, it makes my bulbs brighter than the last model, has a bigger better fan, and came with an extra 2 year warranty.

I'm thinking of sending the other ipower ballasts I have in for newer models, maybe the old models didn't use the watts correctly.
