If you've got sensitive ears, don't buy this unit.. It gives off a high frequency vibration that some people can hear and some cannot. In my case, I can hear it and it gives me a headache. Terrible sound. Just a heads up.

I've had mine for 5 years and still pleased with it. True it does make a high frequency noise but i don't sleep next to it anymore. Keeping it clean helps too. Also be aware negative ions and can cause headaches and make you feel sick.
