Ionic air purifier

I have my vegging cab and flowering "closet" inside of a walk-in closet. I leave the closet open during the day when no one is there to increase air circulation, but even the vegging plants, when large enough, give off an odor. I only have a carbon scrubber for my flowering space. If I put the following device in my closet, will it put off too much O3?

If O3 is too much, perhaps outside of closet but close by? I hear negative ion generators work well too, and no O3.

ozone is fine when properly used. the preset schedule of 10 on and 10 off makes it idiot proof. even phillupchristian could figure it out and he can't even germ seeds.

For the price and good reviews, I'm going to try the one in the OP. I will only plug it in when I expect company. Thanks!

That machine is an ionizer and not producing O3.
2 different stuff. Or am I too stoned ?

The description says it generates "activated oxygen" and some reviewers say if you turn it up too high you get an ozone smell, so I'm thinking it does generate O3, albeit at a fairly low level

ozone gens take a more aggressive approach by emitting o3 that mixes in the surrounding air. ionizers utilize an electrical charge to grab negativly chared particles as the pass through the unit.

ozone = uv light
ionizer = electrically charged plates

Ion generators only put out a tiny bit of Ozone. They work by making a electrical charge that attracts dust and other particles . Not the same as a Ozone generator which just produces Ozone..
I have a walk in closet grow too and run a carbon canister filter plus the Ozn Jr.
Works for me.
No smell during Veg and a little bit during flowering.

Yes but but this is kinda confusing. Ionizers job is to generate negative ions and considered as safer devices .
I still want to believe they are different.

Who knows? If it works and doesn't kill me or my plants, I'll be happy.

Well used it all weekend on lowest setting, does keep odor of vegging plants at bay (unless you stick your head in the box). But there is an odor of its own associated with it that you can smell, not sure if that is ozone or something else.

It also works in the kitchen after cooking a big meal
