I am just getting around to the flip.Since its winter now I am concerned of my night time temp.I am tempted to sneak in there to check the conditions.I know a weather station thingy would solve it but I can't afford one today. Is it a big deal to go in there with a tiny little light to check the temp? Is it a big deal to have the little red light on my electric heater in the dark room or should I get rid of that little bulb? Are there any colors or types of light that can be used if you gotta go in at night? thanks in advance for any replies

If you need enough light to see the whole grow room then get yourself a cheap 1 or 2 bulb T8 fixture at walmart for about $10-$15 and put these green tube guards on the bulbs: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-T8-Green-Sleeve-Tube-Guard-Fluorescent-Tube-Light-Bulb-Cover-48-/270982823427?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f17d5be03) If you don't need that much light then just get a green CFL: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/13W-Spiral-CFL-Compact-Florescent-Colored-Light-Bulbs-13-Watts-Party-Bug-Lamps-/280831686631?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=580073453510&hash=item4162df77e7)

The best time to water your plant are before the lights come on and how do you do this in complete darkness and no green light? It don't bother me I have for a long time had my tent open here and there when it's ment to be complete darkness I reckon 5-10 mins won't hurt anything and never has to me. I wouldn't waste money on a green light. Just go in a check your temps aslong as its a in and out job.
