Found this recently and found it really interesting! Notice how the bulk of the right wing news sources are generally more propaganda and less fact. There are some that are more fact based but you see a huge gap between them and the propaganda area whereas the left doing side still has some propaganda sites but nowhere near the right.
i was pretty mortified watching the caucus process in Iowa..if your candidate didn't make it you were put with your next choice and so on.This is a subject i find very interesting.
I know, a Netflix celeb, but I think he hits the nail on the head here. And while obviously biased these comedian's turned pundits like Hassan, John Oliver and Samantha Bee tend to do better fact checking, and better in depth reporting on certain issues than some(most?) major media outlets, both sides of the political spectrum. This segement discusses the big reasons why faith and trust in media is disappearing and why media is becoming more polarized in the mainstream. I'm Canadian full disclosure, and I fear the same thing is happening here.
Slightly different topic discusses the polarization of politics in general due to the American voting system, but this also plays a major role in media behaviour as well.
Good watch, I wish he would have brought up Reuters and AP news for credible sources though. But the local paper stuff is so important. And it is also being politicized with cat fishing now too.i was pretty mortified watching the caucus process in Iowa..if your candidate didn't make it you were put with your next choice and so on.
