hi has anyone used the shiny part of insulation foam stuff? not sure what its called but i use it for insulation it looks reflective enough

do this

or go buy mylar if you want to be fancy and shiny

but the paint is simple... and real effective


paper is not a good choice, its porous and light penetrates it instead of being reflected by it (well, thats just 1 of the reasons paper isn't good)

celotex...found at HD, 4X8 sheets

makes a great 4x4x8 grow room...4 sheets at $12 each and $8 for the tin tape to seal the seams

man, i can't find anything about how good of light reflectivition it has... anybody ever done any tests? i mean, i know its shiny, but so are those "emergency blankets"...

do you get what i mean? i'm not knocking it, i just like to know numbers...
