Insomnia! Advice needed

Hello peeps. Long story short .......... I have insomnia. It came out of nowhere about 2 - 3 months ago. Lately I'm lucky to get 2 hours sleep a night which is causing havok on my body, mind and family life. It got to the point where I had to go to the doctor and get some sleep aids. I've been taking 7.5 mg zopiclone before bed for the last couple of weeks. I hate taking pills, but I let my insomnia get out of hand and felt I had no choice. The Zopiclone usually helps, (didn't help last night) but I need to stop now before I become dependent on it.

I'm a MM patient and have access to pretty potent oils. I cut back on THC oils a while back to better deal with my anxiety. I take from 25 - 40 mg of cbd daily and it does wonders for my anxiety. I can't speak highly enough about CBD. It truly is remarkable substance. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to help me sleep. It calms me down and puts a smile on my face, but sleep is nowhere to be found ..... even if I take it before bed.

I have access to CBD oil 26mg/ml and THC oil 22mg/ml. I used to take 50 mg of THC in the evening and it would knock me out big time, but I stopped for a bit because I felt I needed to deal with my anxiety in a more sober state.

I'm curious if anyone out there knows any good combos of CBD/THC oil that I could try to get some damn sleep? I have a decent tolerance, but I'm pretty sure my tolerance has lowered a bit since I've cut back on the oils and vape by quite a bit. Should I go all out with the THC again or should I combine both in the evening?

Anyone have any suggestions? Fuck these pills man. I should have known better.

Still use the Oil at night ,But smoke high cbd strains during day,Or just have the odd few pulls then put the joint down for a while,Of a normal thc strain.It works a treat with Anxiety and sleep

I'm in the same boat. I have yet to find anything that works. Tried all the normal otc stuff, nyquil nighttime cold/flu stuff, nyquil sleep stuff, melatonin, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, all 16 strains I grow (smoking bowls of flower), edibles, rso, etc.

I get 3hrs if I'm lucky, then wide wide wide awake. Rinse and repeat for almost 2 yrs now.

Rosin, why rosin? All rosin is is thc, Terps, a little lipids and waxes. Nothing different than say a bho extractbthatbwasnt winterized.

Cbn puts you to sleep.

What do you do for work? What is your level of physical activity? I'm an engineer and work in a high stress environment and find that looming deadlines leads to insomnia. I find that exercising for an hour early in the morning helps with sleep.

Indica I suffer with it ,was on matazipine for sleep and depression ,suffer with both ,just gone over to half a joint a night 1.5 g joints they last me 2 days each one .But best I've found is blue cheese and bubba kush .I smoke it while I'm in bed ,does the trick

I know you said fuck pills - but 2.5 - 5 mg of Melatonin works wonders for me... Combined with a nice sleepy indica, it's amazing... No side effects or addiction...
