Insect problem on clones Pictures included

Can anyone tell me what I might be dealing with here? The 1st picture looks like a darn squid to me!
They are 2-spotted spider mites... and they just laid a shitload of eggs. Throw those clones away and start from seed or get new clones from someone with better hygiene.

Sorry brother.

its always an insect problem and its always a clone... lol never used a clone and never had any other pests other than skipper butterfly larvae aka cattarpillars fuck wit my shit ... start with good seeds and work from there... some people will stand by a clone to the end though... and they really do have their advantages... but not for me

Hm, I have had the clones for like 5 days now just the amount of time it takes for eggs to hatch. Maybe just that 1 plant had a few eggs on it that hatched and I caught it early. Gonna trash it and keep a close eye on the others. None of the others have any tiny white eggs or spots or moving bugs that I can see.

Getting rid of mites on clones is easier than on a large plant I think (I just went threw all that). Use a product called Azatrol, it not only kills them but makes it so they dont want to eat the plant anymore. Make a mild solution and submerge the clones, medium and all into the solution and leave them completely underwater for about 3-4 minutes, I had about 10 cuttings that had mites so bad they were covered in webs, I did that to them and never saw another bug, they are all growing happily now and the azatrol dip didnt seem to hurt them at all (the clone that is, of course it hurt the bugs.)

I have been reading good things about azatrol. Ill have to see if my local garden store has any. Ill update tomorrow. I have the 2 infested plants in the bath tub where its about 60degrees. Hopefully this will buy me a night.
Thanks sir.

I definitely agree with Serialkiller ... . Azatrol kicks mite ass. Its expensive though about $70/bottle.

those are 2 spotted spider mite larva spray the mothers and reclone if possible you can spray the clones but I've had mixed results doing this (endall 2/einstien oil) much safer to cure mom and proceed from there good luck

lil ass clones can be sprayed with soap water maybe some neem oil mixed. No matter whats used it should be simple to deal with at this stage as there will be no mold issues like flowering plants. Cam drench them well, if you dont want to mix your own soap mix home depot sells insecticide soap for like 4 bucks. Just keep an eye on them as you will probably have to hit them several times to make sure you good and keep them away from other plants until you get rid of them. They are pain in the ass once flowering

Hi got got a pesticide called plant rescue - first aid for plants its a bug killer and lists it destroys : whitefly, aphids, thrips, leaf beetle, mealy bugs, scale insects and red spider mite. it contains thiamethoxam and abamectin and is in the form of a spray, my girls are clones only 4 weeks in veg and rather short Ive been finding the usual mites and pick off about 10-20 a day with a small brush, they havent begun a full on invasion yet but im hoping this pesticide will eliminate them any uk growers have experiance with this product? ( its only recently been brought out)

THanks for any help in advance

If you can't afford to buy the Azatrol, use a heavy neem oil mix. It suffocates the mites, although you might have to dip them more than once to get rid of all of them. Also, if you choose to use it, spray all the surrounding area with the mixture. It'll keep them from traveling all over the place.

Oh yeah....I agree with super2200, that spraying would be a better idea for unrooted clones. Dipping them is likely to screw up the rooting process, because they'll be moving around in the medium. Not a good idea.

Yah its easy to get a good coating on by just running your hand from the bottom up holding the leafs upwards while giving the undersides a goood spraying and then when you let the leaves drop back down its easy to spray from the top down
