Input needed on ph while using nutrients w/ffof soil

What’s up y’all! I hope everyone is having a great day so far. I wanted to get your opinions on what ph you would use, with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, and nutrients?? I have Mills and Elite, so I’m just looking for some input on what you’d ph the cocktail before giving to the plants, if at all. I’m gonna be doing a outdoor grow, so no need to worry about what lights, Watts, output, etc. I really appreciate any info you have

FFOF don’t need mutes for a while it’s pretty hot by itself if the plant has used all of the nutrients in the soil then it’s time to add food

Yea, I’m just gonna see how they do with just tap. Then when we hit bloom, I’m gonna do a little experiment with some micro dose nutrients
maybe give her some myco to could help her roots out a bit usually I give plants a small solo cup of water and 1/8th a scoop into it just so i can re inoculate some plants that look like they have problems with their bacteria in the soil usually helps them come back idk. i do it usually when the whole plant doesn't look that happy usually if the nutrients aren't being uptaked right then i hit her with a myco and helps them all so much

Heck yea man! Have you tried any seaweed extracts, or teas? I’ve been reading some info about how they’re really liking these brewed teas

some of those brewed teas do wonders but im more talking about the teas that take 24hrs to brew those are the ones u want to use seaweed extract im not sure about never really used it I try to focus on why my plants are not eating or if their sick to find whats causing it then to fix the problem some problems cant be fixed but can be helped and to get the plant thru flower but myco is very important to the roots for the plant I can agree on this atleast

That’s exactly what I’ve found to be the most neutral, at least those that do ph. I’m down in central Texas, so the tap water is a little hard. The ph is roughly 7.2-7.4.. I've grown before, just used promix, and always ph’d. Then, I seen folks talking about keeping it simple, and just using some ocean forest. Especially since it has just about everything you’d need to grow

also if u don't have a strong mycos colony in your soil that could be why your plant isn't taking up as well it really helps with getting food into the plant the mycos are little stomachs. The major function of mycorrhizae is their ability to exchange nutrients between their surroundings and their host plant. With the increase in root surface area and the protection they offer to the plant's roots, the fungus is able to acquire a lot of nutrients for its host.

Solid information right there

Do you use any sort of nutrients, or just straight water the whole veg time?
I top off my girls with new soil. Usually about halfway through flower.
I grow indica or hybrid mostly, this time I’ve got one of @curious2garden cindi99 that I’m trying. Been in the hospital for 2 weeks and mrs sunny took over. They’re not doing too well lol:eyesmoke:
Good luck

That’s exactly what I run as well. I can’t do sativas because of my ptsd. Once I up pot to their final homes, I add more soil. I’ve grown mostly in water the past 9 years, besides a few in promix. So I’m not a completely new noob lol. I always appreciate solid info though, because we will never know enough about this plant. I hate to hear they aren’t looking to good.
