I soaked my girls on the high setting. I used 6 1/2 gallons of diluted forbid at 1 ml a gallon in the atomizer for 12 plants 6 small and 6 decent size. I hope I killed the majority of them cuz that's the only time I'll get to use that atomizer. Definitely buying one for next year when I can..I should be able to make 2 or 3 more gallons of Forbid. I'll skip tonight and spray tomorrow evening with rest of the forbid. Then I guess neem from there hopfully gets me to harvest.

U dont have mites! Its a MG problem. I had the exactly the same problem lastyear. Soon u will have brown build-up on the buds then all is lost.
hey Charles if its the same problem you had tell me more about your problem. what did it look like and how did you solve the problem?

I got russet or broad mites (the Borg) last year on some Bubblegum clones that I purchased from a dispensary here in CO. Ended up losing three of the four BG, but managed to keep them off my other girls. I tented everything with plastic as airtight as was possible outdoors and used some pyrethrin bombs from the nursery. I believe I bombed them three times total, three days between applications. Here's an interesting link about the bastards.

No sign of them this year, but I do have plastic back over the garden tonight, as we are expecting SNOW six weeks earlier than usual. Just a dusting supposedly. Wish me luck! :weed:

Mine lookes exactly the same as his pic. During the first weeks of flowering all pistols came out dark brown or black as if they were dead or pollinated. Then on most colas only the very top were perfectly growing all white. The leaves were curling up. But the crazy thing is that the cylax was still growing but i could tell something wasn't right, there was no frost on the ladies at all (except for the onea that were good only at the top). Then as it took weeks for me to figure out what was going on the ladies started to get chrollosis build-up on them. It looked as if they had little golden balls on them were it should have been frost. Shit was crazy cause the buds was big as shit. Just no frost no smell at all and curled up leaves. When i was all over the net trying to find out what was wrong i got everything from they were pollinated to mites, hermies a bunch of shit. Only when i started to ask doublejj, GB, TWS and a few other big fellas what they were feeding their ladies along with maxsea is when i started to foliar feed with Epsom salts and bam my little ladies statred to recover pretty fast. But my big girls were so large and would need so much that i wasn't sure how much to give them how often etc. So by the end all my 7/8ft ladies were nothing but big as weeds in my backyard that needed a mower. Then to make things worse the. Little ones that got correct were tooks by some rippers.

Maxsea is great inexpensive food but its high ratio and lack of MG and low levels of Cal you have to account for that. Or when flowering hits your going to have a problem. This year i went wit maxsea again. But also did some with just Maxsea some with Epsom some with dolomite lime and some with cal/mg to c what would be best for me.

But that brings me to another question.. if your ladies are lacking a nute because you were not giving it to them, should it be corrected by giving more of whats needed then taper down to what is needed? Or just give what is needed and let it b?

alright Charles I've seen your grows and you seem to do well. in all due respect I don't think you had the same thing as we have been fighting. the picture you looked at a few posts back isn't the same either. I have a couple photos I'll post a little later after I finish my chores. thanks Charles.

Wow going to war!Last year the guy up the road from me had plants that were growing with his tomatoes and flowers and dude had everything on his plants mites thripe pm you name it he had it .He would come down to my property and hang out but I made sure he didnt get near my crop for fearhe would contaminate my ladies.I was lucky and did not get anything but that is how alot of these things are spread garden to garden ,growing with plants that are susceptible to bugs.I started a spray routine early and stuck with it mostly all orgnic sprays for prevenintive and have had good luck this year.I cant spray any pesticides that are chemicals becuase everything I grow gets tested for mold and pesticides and it is a very stict test like .01 allowed for mold o for pesticides.I wish you guys luck and hope you get the upper hand on those things.

yeah I've read that if the bugs get in the tomatoes it can breed a super bug that's almost impossible to control. JJ and I were talking about that and we live in tomato farm lands. it's possible that's whats happened because the new forbid mitcide is recommended to control the russet mites and is sold by the government through the farm bureau. go figure! I grow organic too but, when you get hit with something like this you got do what is necessary to control the problem. as you mentioned early on spray routinely early is the best bet. soap ,garlic is what I'm using now. thanks and good luck
