hello i have a seven buy four room. i may be making a little larger in the future so i will go alittle big if need be. what size fan is recommended and or how do i figure this out. thanks

Hey man, your post isn't very descriptive at all, I doubt anyone will be able to help you. I suggest taking a look in the Grow room design and setup section in the forums and perhaps you will find your answer.

This is how it works fans are rated by CFM. Cubic Feet Per Minute. You should clear your room out every 5 minutes or more. So you haven't given me enough info man. I need volume not area...

So do it for yourself.

(H x W X L) / 5 = CFM for your fan. Good luck man.

If your room is a normal 8ft high, you have 224 Cubic Feet of space. Your minimum CFM size should be no less than 45. If you plan on venting through a carbon filter, up the fan size. Don't skimp on ventilation and odor control. Minimum should be a 4" Vortex (175CFM) or something similar.

Most supplyers of exaust fans will tell you what size of fan you will need for any size of room if you take the measurements.
