You're gonna use your 4" fan for an active intake I went out and got a 6" inline fan from HD It didn't work out as good as I hoped but I don't think the HD fan is nearly as strong as my 4"er let me know how it turns out hoping to drop my temPs by 10 degrees

Ok but I run co2 so I like it warm. But ill see how cold I can get it.

And those inline fans have no hootsbah what so ever. Inline 4 should give me the punch.

We call those cheapo fans from Home Depot 'booster fans,' and they are shit!

When looking for ventilation equipment buy quality, it will pay for itself in ease and durability. They generate a decent air pressure, booster fans not so much.

Always buy the biggest fan you can and make sure to get speed controllers for them.

I wasted A LOT of money on 4 and 6 inch fans(the lame 220cfm 6" ones), lol. I should of went with the most powerful 6" fans from the begining. It's nice having more power then you need and having them on a speed controller, it gives you a lot of control over your environment.

As long as you aren't intaking high temp air then yes it will DEFINATELY work to lower your temps.

I can't believe that since June you haven't just dropped the $'s to see for yourself.
