Inline fan stand??? Anyone?

I have a 10 in max fan and would rather not susp[end it from the rafters.because of a upstairs neighbor... I have a 6 in hanging from bungees right now and he cant feel/hear it but I think the 10 in might be a little diff. if the bungees are not enough has anyone ever made a stand or table? I can figure it out just wondering if anyone has any simple fixes for this problem... The filter will be here next week and I plan on just sitting the fan on top of the filter . any problems with this?

You could make a stand out of PVC, and just bungee it to that. Probably cost you all of 8 bucks in PVC/fittings. Just go with 1" or greater diameter schedule 40 PVC, or 3/4" or greater schedule 80.

Yeah, I make a ton of shit out of PVC...from aquarium parts and light stands for t5's, to grow tents and canopies for an outdoor grow...I just like that it's basically plug and play, with all the fittings available...like a grown up erector set. And if you need extra stability, PVC glue is rock solid and easy to use.

Yea I hear ya with that man! Aquariums you say? do you mess around with saltwater at all?
