I am just wondering about fan options for the most efficiency and also for keeping things quiet. Currently I have a Systemair 5" RVK which is mounted inside of a wooden box, the ducting is acoustic and the box is also filled with expanding foam - It runs pretty silent but I need more airflow.. I grow in a 80x80x200cm tent with a 400w HPS, with the outside room kept cool with an AC unit. This does help massively, but I am still getting 30/31ºC temps with the lights on due to more airflow needed.
The difference in noise going up to a bigger fan, say 8" is a pretty big difference... I am just wondering what the best options are with purchasing inline fans nowadays? as it´s better to get a head start before adding my own noise reduction. The Systemair RVK E2-L comes in at 42dB and pushing 720 m3/hour, this seems to be one of the best options considering the price. Or is there better fans out there which aren't too expensive? I am in Europe so it can be limited on brands without additional shipping and tax costs.
Cheers
