Inkbird Controllers Humidity or Temperature Display Lights

I put my inkbirds outside the tent, since they have long enough sensor cords. Also, if they're in the tent, you have to open it to see what's really going on with them, unless you get the wifi versions.

For any LEDs on hardware in the tent, I use a layer or two of gaffer's tape to cover.

If you can read it's too much light. Long time belief and now Cornell U study confirms. I don't think red lights matter but not for sure. I don't bother with the little red ones in the grow.
I leave Inkbirds outside and have the WIFI ones. 2 fans, 2 humidifiers and a heater inside with their lights on. I stopped taping them up. I don't think it matters if at all.
Sour Diesel. 30days flipped. One plant 2x4 330W LED

In general, I think people stress too much about things needing be 100% dark and a pinhole might cause your plants to herm...Just don't think plants are that sensitive to such small amounts of light. But again, super easy for me to cover the lights on any power strips, or my heater, etc. I keep a big roll of black gaffing tape in my supplies anyway and it takes literally seconds to hide any lights.

Yeah, if this were true, all outdoor plants would herm from the moon light.
