I am not the first to say this.
The fact is we are getting a one-sided, biased, second hand account of the court proceeding from someone paid to be there by a pro cannabis magazine. Not getting the whole story should be a concern to all of us
Being pessamistic isnt unreasonable when dealing with the cheating Harper at wheel

I think the GOV knows that mmar grows will be reinstated so they are trying to save what they can of the mmpr to fulfill promises made to influential investors. They have not brought anything new to the table and the reasons for ending the mmar have been proven to be non-existent. One thing I'm NOT hearing, is anyone suggest mmar patients should have a special exemption to grow, rather that ANYONE who is prescribed marijuana has a right to medicine without risking their liberty.

Someone said transcripts were $4/page...but I thought court proceedings were public? Can one not use FOI?

Sadly not for the additional time it will take. They meet the legal minimums and I'm sure one day it all gets archived in a basement where you can go read it.
So our courts are only 'open and transparent' for those that can afford to attend the hearings? How democratic. How hard would it be to record audio and release it online? stream it even. How about a speech to text program released online? Sorry, bullshit money grabs piss me off.

The courts system still uses hand drawn pictures instead of cameras. No idea why...
