I have inhearated four plants from an annonymous source!
what an awesome day!
so im starting a thread..
i need some help with these because they are in soil.. not experiancecd at all in soil..

so let me get all the info down for everyone who is intrested..
all of these plants were inteneded to be mothers.. so they are 3 months old, about. :?
they were givin mother a and b in a soilless mixture of coco and perlite in 3 gal smart pots
not only that but the were grown under flouresents, 18/6 light cycle

the strains are
gdp
yoda purple
tangerine dream
and blue dream

as of right now what i have done to them..
i have put them under a 400W hps 18/6
transplanted to 5 gal smart pots
and started to flush them with r/o water
and picked up some fox farm nutes, tiger bloom and big bloom

ok so pics...

here they all are under my light.. non air cooled about a foot over the plants.
and heres the first one its the yoda i believe

you can see its struggling with something..

one more shot same plant

and heres the blue dream

its got some problems too

ph twist and taco shelling in some places

here is the tangerine dream (seed from a bag that came from the cannabis cup winner btw)

you can see it has all the same problems as well...

and the gdp... which confuses me..
it is extremely short and bushy and just one of the densest plants ive ever seen..

it has 3 main stalks coming up but the main cola is not the tallest..

and alas.. it has the same problems as well..
]

most of the yellowing/taco shelling is starting from the bottom of the plant
idk if you can see in the pics but stems to main fan leaves on all plants are a bit purple.
and im wondering about a basic watering schedule, the person i got these from just watered them when he saw fit.. i am so unexperianced in soil please help!

i do plan to scrog these and they re going to move into a corner soon..
much much more to come !! :D

hahaha that has yet to come! they just want some smoke in return
what do you think could be the problem though?
i personally think they are light starving nitrogen diffcient and a little over watered
thoughts?

oh and
DISCLAIMER:
every picture you see is many years old and all of this has already happened i am just making a study on responses and then posting pre-recorded results..

i would prune the lower 1/2 to 2/3 of the plant and that will help it out a lot. if you have the space it also needs transplanted but if you do that it will quickly start to grow taller. if you put those in a 5 gallon bucket (they look like they are in 2-3 g now), under a 600 watt hps, and veg for a week to let them sort out the transition before you flip to flower id be shocked if you got less then a qp per plant.

I have transplanted them!
And they are under 400 now, soon to be 1400w!

But really 1/2 to 2/3?? How would you prune it?
And I'm still concerned about deficiencies etc..
Checked on them today and leaves in the uper part of the BD are curling down and new growth is kinda twisty.
Bottom growth has not improved at all..
Anyone out there want top chime in

dont see any plroblems trim away the dead and dying leves they are like that from the flouro lighting it will only get worse cause your using HID. but thats not an issue just a difference in the way plants grow under certains lights. start LSTing em and taking clones all in all they look great and pest free too.

these are all of the same plant they convey my concerns very well
all of the plants have the same problems but this plant shows it the most
this is the blue dream
this first picture shows the twisting a drooping of the leaves

this second picture shows the purple/red stems and taco shelling very well

and you can clearly see the yellowing and drooping leaves from the bottom up in this picture

are you sure this is only because of cfl stress

RO water = NOT GOOD FOR WEED
You should try rain water, creek water, something with minerals in it....

RO and ESPECIALLY distilled water are not good.

yes i am sure it is the lighting . also they all look over fed which probably accounts for your nutrient looking problems just let em sit and use regular water(RO distilled tap wtfe you prefer, just add some nutes(1/10 strength) for RO) for a while till they are begging for some food.

also another point is how old are they? the pH could be out of whack therefore you might need to top feed some DOL. lime.

nearly 3 months :/
and i have the fox farm nutes, tiger bloom and big bloom.. give them both now or hold off ?

hold off on the nutes till you acess everthing watch the plant grow then react not vice versa. i read back its coco perlite mix your fine as far as far pH goes forever for the most part. anyways see of thier root bound yet? that could also cause this.

I agree 5 gallon bucket and better have plenty head room or top shit out of them. When they stretch you going to have sum monsters.good luck pal
