Information about Nirvana Aurora Indica

This is one strain I am considering. I am looking for any information you can give. First hand experience is a plus. I have researched this strain a lot, seems most people are OK with it, they like it, they think it is easy to grow, etc. While others hate it. I know that is how most things work, some people like certain things, some people hate the same things.

My main criteria I am looking for are:
Short plant
Short flowering time
Decent yield
High potency

A sweet smooth taste is preferred but not required at this time.

So will Aurora Indica provide me with any of this? Are there any other Nirvana strains that will give me what I am after?

Also if anyone has the knowledge to answer the questions below, that would be most helpful.

How short does the plant stay?

Easy or difficult to grow?

Easy or difficult to take cuttings?

Taste?

Potency?

Yield? (under a 250 hps)

How much odor when growing/flowering?

Flowering time?

How much time needed during vegetation?

Potency- medium strength indica, with some more potent pheno's.
Cross is made of afgan and northern lights.
Height- tops out at 3 1/2 feet outdoors, most stop at around 2 feet indoors.
yield- Medium and high yield when scrog or trained. Easy to grow
Cloning: Cuttings are not as easy as some other nirvana strains, but i just ran this plant and out of 10 seeds i couldn't find a keeper.
Flowering 50-65 day flowering time (depending on amber trichs)
Taste: sweet and hashy, some pheno's smelled a little fruity.
under a 250 you can get goot yields, but it requires training, not something you leave and magically becomes a cash cropper. it stays short so scrog is perfect for this strain.
Smell: kinda nasty, like burnt plastic and hash/cannabis smell. low odor strain, not a real stinker.

i love myself some indica's, but this kinda disappointed me, i gave them a second run after being impressed with it indoors, but outdoors its just awful. Low yields and needs the pampering some indoor strains require. There are hundreds of better indica's out there, and even alot to pick from when it comes to the breeder-Nirvana Seeds. if you are looking for affordable indicas, then try
Dinafem- Critical +, White siberian, sweet deep grapefruit.
De Sjaaman- too many to name.
Sannies- Herijuana
Sensi- super skunk, Skunk kush, Maple Leaf indica.

the aurora i got from nirvana was all really sativa dominant, which makes me think they didn't give me ai in the first place. Plants budded like crazy and definetly were taller than 2 feet indoors. I too was kind of disappointed with aurora indica. I got some jackberry and cosmic brain goin now that I'm pretty excited about.

very indica like with fat leaves. grows easily enough...but honestly doesn't look very appealing...

I will second the Maple Leaf Indica. Medium strength but what a great high! I feel great on this as opposed to stoned off my ass. It stretches but I just bend it and tie it down.

Have heard all different things about Aurora and have no clue there. Papaya gets more consistent good reviews.

What about Nirvana Bubblicious? Or Northern Lights? Blue Mystic? or even AK48?
I have heard that Northern Light, Blue Mystic and AK48 aren't as strong as Aurora Indica, Papaya, or Bubblicious? I also remember reading somewhere that Papaya and Bubblicious can be hard to grow and to take cuttings from? I read somewhere that Northern Lights, Blue Mystic and AK48 really have no sweet taste? I believe they are all fairly short plants, and all except Bubblicous have a fairly short flowering period? What about yield on these strains? If one was looking for a Nirvana product that has some if not all of the following traits, what would one get?

Sweet taste (Sweet skunk preferred)
High potency (Medical Preferred)
Short Plant
Good Yield
Short flowering time
Easy to grow and to take cuttings

Anyone with information? All comments are greatly appreciated.

Blue mystic and Papaya are more potent than aurora indica, . AK48, bubblicious and Aurora indica are about even in potency, with varying high types. Blue mystic is Probably the best strain i've grown of Nirvana with good yields, some incredible smells on some pheno's, purple genetics and above average potency, probably somewhere around 10-20% depending on whether you grew a sativa dom or indica dom (sativa dom is far better).

i grew a blue mystic under 400w hps a few years back...has a nice blue hue to it....good buzz too. I've grown and smoked more potent strains but it'll blow your hair back that's for sure. got about 2 ounces of dense nugs.

Blue mystic clones really well, i took clones of my favorite plant at all stages in life, even deep into flowering and they still rooted like champs.

Had AI in my last grow. Very similar results to Indicaman. Grew them organic, Indoor, 400W HPS. Plants topped out at about 3.5 feet. Visual trich content about 1\3 less then Nirvana Full Moon. Yielded 2.5 -4 oz per plant, depending on the pheno. Very heavy couchlock.

Overall, I would grow this strain again, but it wasn't exciting enough to warrant an immediate second grow. I'm locked into Full Moon for Sativa, trying Nirvana Ice this time instead of the AI.

I would recommend it, but hard to say if it's my favorite. We'll see once I harvest the Ice.

I would still like to hear what others have to say about these Nirvana strains. Trying to gather as much info as possible before I make my decision.

Flowering time? I LIKE TO STICK TO 7-8 WEEKS, JUST WATCH THE TRIKES.

How much time needed during vegetation? I HAVE A MOM THATS BEEN IN A DWC SETUP FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS FROM SEED AND SHE'S ABOUT 18 INCHES TALL AND WIDE, I WOULD RECOMMEND FLOWERING AT 4-5 WEEKS, UNLESS YOU WANT MAXIMUM SIZE, 6-8 WEEKS.

Thanks watchxyouxburn, it helps a lot.

I think I have it narrowed down to Aurora Indica, Bubblicious, or Papaya, but haven't completely ruled out NL, or Blue Mystic, need to do a bit more research on some of these before I make my final decision. But I think AI would work out well for me. I love the fact that it is an Afghan mixed with a skunk. And I am a big Indica fan.

Thanks for all the help, anyone else with info, please share, I truly appreciate all the comments.

I know this is an old thread but I'm bored so as charles barley would say." It was tuurrible." Great grower easy to grow and short and bushy. I had over 40 branches on mine but the trichs never turned even after 100 days and did n't even buzz you.

All of mine were too. Large large plants 6' indoors

So here is a bud of Aurora Indica. All 5 seeds turned sativa. Very disappointing ¦0(
Nightmare to grow due to genetics in these seeds that I got. Seems to have been a bad batch of seeds from nirvanna a year or so back. Ive seen a few people complaining of the same results around the same time! You shouldn't let this put you off though as I hear its a strong strain
This was my last seed! Glad to get rid! Its a shame because as I really love my Indica smoke
