does anyone know anything about arg lights i have 150 watt bulbs on two plants are these lights any good,they been on 24/7 when do i start 12/12 please help first time grower
im not familiar with arg lights. maybe you could post a pic of it or more information on it. but generally the only bulbs worthwile for growing are cfl's, fluorescents, metal halide, and high pressure sodium lights. some people are also using led's but i dont know much about those either.
for vegetative growth you can give them 18hours of light and they'll be fine. you can start flowering, 12/12, whenever you want. most people switch to 12/12 for time constraints or space constraints. if you have enough room, you can keep growing the plants for as long as you want, but they will generally double in size during flowering so keep that in mind. also if you're not in a rush to finish it off you can keep it growing. or you can flower it now. its really up to you.
