Indoor started 15 days ago

So I figured I would just start a thread for my grow rather than randomly asking dumb questions and just hope the advice comes to me. I tried fim'n tonight and it went rather terribly instead of just getting the top i managed to cut off one of the lower branches aswell it now looks pretty ugly but I'm hoping this thing will pull threw it here are some shitty pics of my set up.

fans= one osculating and one outtake xbox fan
lights= 2x26W 6500, 1x13W 2700, 1x26W2700
box is 1.5'x 1.5' x 2'
soil= miracle grow seed starter (starting to think that was a bad idea)

some will tell you MG is the bomb-diggity. I say its crap, but to each his own. I like your stealth-ness!!

ya jesus when I transplant into a bigger pot im gunna get some soil with more nutes in it, thanks stealth is unfortunate to have to be but its the only way i can do it right now this grow is mainly a learning experience not expecting much bud. oh and thanks for your input DSB i checked out your kitchen cab looked decent.

Flush the MG soil with plenty of pH'd water. It'll help. Did for me. Put 20 bucks into getting quality nutes and another 20 into a bag of coco coir and a bag of perlite.

Hi there, nice cab man! just put the lights a little closer, at around 3 inch or less, never 5 or more.

the kitchen cab didn't work out..trying to be to cheap and it fryed my plants ..but as soon as i get my seeds will start a closet grow with new equipment...

ya red neck i've just been letting my tap water sit out and giving it a dumping every couple of days gunna go to a local hydroponic to get some nutes and hopefully new soil over the weekend

lince thanks man ya I had them just a couple away but im having some heat issues so I put it down a bit, got seeds from a local breeder and its 'northern jack' combination of northern lights and jack herer I haven't been able to get any info on it thinking it might not be a well known strain.

dsb thats shitty man I'm just keeping the one plant so hopefully it doesnt get to cramped and hot,

Update
so the plant recovered from the fim and now i've got 2 "tops" chillin but the one is definately dominant i've seen this happen to other peoples grows and the general step they take is tie it back and im going to do that once it grows out a little more. i also lst'd it last week and its takin quite well to it. oh and i switched to 12/12 on saturday so its 27 days and 2 days of 12/12 heres some more shitty pics im aware its not the size it should be at this age but my box gets pretty hot and i think thats stunting it a bit

Looks like the MG soil is taking it's affect...

haha ya man unfortunately i havent been able to find any good soil people dont tend to garden this time of year and the hydro store isnt very accessible unless u have a car and

im a bus rider so its quite unfortunate but im hoping in time itll dilute. all the new growth is green and as long as its just the bottom 2 leaves turning yellow im not too worried. i

picked up some cheap nutes too i know thats probably not a great idea but rent is more of a concern right now then supplies so im doing it as cheap as possible its 10/20/10

with very trace amounts of micronutes so hopefully it'll do the job. thanks for the help lordemo

I doubt the problem is the soil.

doubts dont help me very much boonie gunna need a little more insight then that, unless u were just high then its understandable, im thinking it has a bit of a N deficiency cause the new growth is light green or it could be the heat possibly too. any productive thoughts anyone?

hey guys the plants getting nice and bushy and im 90% sure its a she. I originally planned on keeping it in this roasted chicken container but the roots are already taking it over so I'm going to put it in a bigger 6L container anyone have experience with transplanted with alot of roots to play with ? I want to be nice to her

and heres a couple more shitty pics, sorry I really dont have the cash for a camera right now might be able to get one in a couple weeks

Bumpity Bumpity UPDATE transplanted into a bigger container and gave it another LST job , tied the two main stalks down "spreadin' em" and expose a couple more bud sites hoping they'll grow up to the main ones and what not, i'll take a few pics this weekend .

hey i started the same day u started and dnt let ppl fool u mg seed starter is the best ive did germination seed in soil and the hatch 100percent germination! and im pulling up a chair to check out mi grow

hey guerilla, looks good. move the lights closer, but other than that you're fine. don't let the haters get you down. mg soil is pretty awesome. don't know if it's the best, but it is as good or slight better than fox farm. peep my papaya. 18 days into flowering after 30 days in veg. all in miracle grow potting mix. don't know the npk differences between that and the seedling starter, but it's prob pretty close. also, start ph'ing your water.

hey boosie thanks for checking it out ya man so far the soil has been alright I think. I checked yours out they are looking very healthy keep it up, but mine popped 09/28 and started flower 10/23 so you're a bit beyond in time but your growth is equal or better good work man, i fim'd mine early and it stunted it pretty hard but the side growth is gettin good now.

noob thanks dude the npk is practically 0's on the seed starter so thats why i went with it, I've heard some pretty good stuff about fox farm so i do plan on getting some for my future grows and find out if its worth all the talk. so far from this site it seems if u put your nirvana seed in the foxfarm soil you'll get everything you could ever want. And I checked out your thread about trimming and I've been taking out any fan leaves that are in the way of nodes too. I've been filling up containers from the labs jugs of pH'd water or letting my tap water sit. Do you have any pics of you grow?
