Dr. Chronic. You can get those fixtures at Home Depot for $5 which includes the reflector, but if you've got Y splitters on the lights then the reflectors won't fit anymore. Really nice clamping and manuevering. Can't beat it for the price. I'll post some pics in a bit. I've changed my setup quite a bit!

Here's the final resting place for the White Satin. Dudes damnit!

:-? Sniffle...

Onwards and upwards. So because the name of this Journal is Indoor/Outdoor and I can't figure out how to change the name of it, I'm moving Plant#1 (the bushier of the two) Outside! The reason why I chose Plant#1 is because of the pot drainage issues that I was having with it. It should go nuts outside. Here it is in it's new home. Same spot as the bigger of the outdoors, with fresh compost:

Happy plant! So as the outdoor plants went down to make room for the indoor #1 moving into their site, indoor #2 will receive twice the light now that it is the only plant. Here's what I mean:

That's 6 27-40w cfl's and 2 40W flouro tubes. Should be enough for flowering right? I guess, cause in a day the trichs have started appearing all over the top leaves. I'm pretty pumped right now! Here's a couple more:

You can see where I burned it a little on top. I had the fluoro tubes right on top of it and she grew into them. It wasn't hot to the touch at all, but apparently she's sensitive. Not sure if you can see the trichs or not on this one, but I can. Last one, you can see where the main Cola is really starting to take off:

Hope you're enjoying this a fraction of the amount I am!

Well the vertical growth on the indoor appears to have slowed quite a bit. She seems to be throwing everything into bud manufacturing at this point. I rearranged the tub yesterday hopefully for the last time so that I could get the frame higher so that the lights are closer to the main cola. I like what I'm seeing:

Hope to have some pics of the outdoor tomorrow. Almost like the outdoor has gone back into vegetative. Not doing a ton of flowering, mostly the stock is shooting up like crazy and the branches are starting to stretch out a ton. This used to be a super compact bushy plant. All for now.

OK maybe we won't have to wait for tomorrow. Here she is basking in the sunset.

OUTDOOR:

And this ones a little dark, but gives a better shot of the stretching which has happened since being moved outside

Thanks dragon! Indoor got another feeding today. I haven't fed the outdoor at all since she went outside. Soil is fresh and really good stuff, so there should be plenty of nutes and it's been raining a couple times a week. Polar opposite grows really. Indoor are now dark during the day and light at night and are very high maintenance. The outdoor at this point I could stop by to harvest in October if I wanted to, but I don't....;-)

Well yesterday I noticed some purple spots starting to form on the lower leaves. Now it's moved to the upper around the buds. I flushed with 2 gallons of water. Hoping that helps. No idea what's going on. I fed on Friday with the same amount I've been feeding all along. Organic Fox Farms Big Bloom. I'm lost. Here's some pictures. Please let me know if you have ideas/suggestions. Thanks.

Otherwise, the buds have been growing great. I've pulled a couple nugs off it so far and the stone is nice. Not ready yet obviously and the stone only lasts about 2 - 2 1/2 hours, but still nice up high. Here's the main cola:

that leaf is nute burned... probably a mineral build up and small lock out of that mineral... or it just got too much zinc iron manganese.... which are all in big bloom I believe... the affected area won't regen... but if you just water with phed water, it should balance out pretty quickly...

have you checked the ph of the runoff water? Everything I see points to nute burn or nutrient deficiency (which could very well be caused by root lock). If your runoff is too high than lower it to about 5.3 then give it a good leach and complete chelated micronutrient formula

PH is around 7, and my tap water is around 7 as well. It has always been that way. I guess another flushing of a lower ph water wouldn't hurt. I'll try that tomorrow. I really appreciate the help. I'm at a loss. How close would you say I am to harvest. I'd like to cut her next week as I'll be out of town for close to a week after that.

that sounds perfect, looks like about another week left anyways. Also, you should cut off all of the dead leaf with sanitized scissors. Flushing it with water at a ph of 5.3 one day, and then continuing to water with water that has a ph of 6.3 should do nicely.

Here's a couple more. Looks like I need to chop the indoor this week. Not sure if she's really ready or not:

Outdoor is very slow in the flowering process. Frost is coming on strong. Anyone have any ideas for a small green house type thing I can setup while I'm away on vacation?

clear landscaping plastic sheets wrapped around wood posts, black plastic lining the ground to absord heat, and adding mulch to the top of the pots. putting slate stone into the garden will help as well, as they will soak up heat during the day, and then let it out slowly over night. You can see an example of the plastic and posts etc. in my journal in my sig. that should do just fine, unless it is staying below freezing for long periods of time, then a circulating water heating system is your best bet.

Great info thanks Loaded! I got some flexible PVC and bent it over the plant then got some clear plastic over it with some holes for breathing. I'll add some mulch and maybe even some rocks. So you think that the indoor plant is ready for cutting based on the close-up above? Not that I have much of a choice.
