Indoor Hydro Grow #2

Nope i am from Florida but I am English so i guess you got it half right
will keep you posted.

Ive i'd 2 males with tiny preflower balls so far.....damn and looks to be trending to 3, so im hoping for a 50% female to male ratio. 3 plant have no sign of preflowers and im hoping the late bloomers are female..
ill be watching them for a couply more days, ill see if i can get any photos and post them up before i yank the males!

So how many days exactly did it take for the plants to show male preflowers anyways?

TRIAL AND ERROR, i havent been counting....i lost my proven genetics stars to mice (which was my fault) and have since started the bagseed...
if i think hard it must be 5-7 weeks give or take 2 weeks. like i said it looks like 2 of 6 are males so far, a tiny preflower on the 4th looks to be male and the remaining 3 havent shown sex yet...................ill keep ya posted

I still have only i'd 2 males of the six, havent pulled them because im only 98% sure and not 100. Im getting my 400hps back tonight and will be switching to flower and hoping for 3 ladies, im hoping for fat nugs but so far the bagseed plants seem a little funky and kind of mutant, 2 of them look real good, symmetric and attractive. we will see....ill keep ya posted, pics soon.

Here are some new pics, i switched to my 400hps this morning and flipped the lights to 12/12, im tired of waiting and the bagseed so far has not performed like the proven genetics of my first grow.
Plants are around 10" and 3 have early pre-flowers, 2 of which look male and 1 of which i am unsure, but have a bad feeling about. More as it develops!

do you have problems with your roots exposed like that?

hey tomuchsmoke,
normally i would have buried the whole rockwool cubes to the stems in the clay pellets but im waiting to see which are male then pull those and move the remaining females so they are not crammed up against one another, so far i havent had any root problems but as soon as i yank the males ill be burying the rockwool cubes for sure!

So....i pulled my first male, positive id and yanked it from the garden which leaves me with 5 plants, 2 of which i think are growing balls and the other 3 im just praying ill see those sexy little pistils come out of the ladies junk....
put up good female energy people im really hopin to grow 3 ladies!!!!!

I might be doing the same as you too..can you give me an opinion on my plant? I posted 4 pics of the preflowers I'm seeing on one of the plants.. Im really leaning towards male 100%

NEW UPDATE,

More shitty news on the front, at least 4 of the 6 original starts are male and it might even be 5.....kind of crazy it think it was the OLD OLD OLD bagseed they came from. the plants are all healthy and growing fast but one after another balls.....then more balls.
ON A LIGHTER NOTE
I recieved my free seeds from VISC today, no problems took about 3 weeks.
Strains recieved were 420, Canadian, Olympic, and Sin...
very excited about proven genetics...and the people at visc are AMAZING. they went out of their way to make my year! cheers to them...check them out at

Bummer man... At least you got some proven genetics thatll be THAT much better than the bagseeds

So as of this morning 5 of 6 are 100% id'd males, and i have a bad feeling about #6, i am pulling all the males tonight and will post pics of my dying grow.....if the last remaining is also male i will pull that and immediatley clean my room and prep for the visc grow coming up. Probably will not be putting it on the riu journal, trail and error hope your grow go's ok.

Maybe my last thread for this grow....bummer........so heres shots of me pulling the 2 biggest males and actually..........im gonna pluck the other fuckers right now....wait a sec..........
so.........heres a shot of the big 4 males, remember i already pulled one male a week ago..so of 6 plants i have 1......1 that has not shown preflower...one that might be a female, 1...........................it dosent look good tho.
If the lone remaining plant (pictured) is a woman (hope to god) then ill keep her. if this last plant (pictured) of the bagseed is a male im NEVER fucking with bagshit again....like i said in my last thread...proven genetics make great grows

ON A POSITIVE NOTE
i just recieved a killer shipment of 32 seeds for FREE, 32 seeds! They came from VISC...they sent me 4 different strains....a total of over 225$ for free.
