If you are using soil then most of the nutrients are in the soil. If you are thinking anout going hydroponic then yes. Tin foil is not good as it creates hot spots and can kill plants. Painting walls flat white will be better. Do a search for Panda Film. It is an affordable plastic film that is white on oneside and black on the other. You can find it on ebay. There is so much info on this site about all types of ways to grow. YouTube as some videos as well in the mature area. Everyone on this site will help you in anyway we can. Welcome!i had a couple of questions about growing, and i can't seem to find anything relating to it. is it necessary to put extra nutrients in the water for the plants? and will it help if i cover the walls with tinfoil? i'm just starting to grow, so i'm starting off with a few plants in my closet at this point, since i don't have a lot of cash on hand to spend on expensive equipment
I was wondering the same thing. What is an expensive setup? I see some people talking about spending $50 on their grow setup, and here I'm ready to spend at least $600 not sure where that would get me.how much do you think each system would cost?
The mini Cool Cab is way too short to grow unless you're running indica 12/12 from seed.I'm not sure if this posted before, but, here I go again. I'm considering purchasing a MINI COOL CAB grow cabinet. What are your thoughts on these types of devices? It's a little costly, but, it carries what I assume to be all of the necessary equipment to get my horticulture on. I would LOVE to be able to turn some of Louisiana's "so-so" into WHOA!!(quite frankly, unless I move wayyyyy out, outdoor growing is far to risky).
