Indoor grow question

hey everyone, this is my first time starting an indoor grow. ive had an outdoor grow, athough im looking to start an indoor.

firstly my choice of seeds are: Afghan.
its a small plant, and i was just curious of the following:

i have a 20watt lamp, and a grow space of a foot and a half.im planning to grow 1 plant in the space.

ive limited resources and was curious whether or not that lamp would be sufficient, and for how long into the grow would i have to change to something a little more powerful.

could i fully grow an Afghan seed with a 20watt lamp? and also, how long roughly would i have to wait until it was ready to harvest.

i have read up a few guides which were brief to my circumstances, all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

a 20 watt lamp is not enough to bother. you will get next to nothing. You would literally be blessed to get 2 grams.

you could use a 250watt compact flourescent bulb or you could use 2 Daylight flourecents and 1 Warm White flourescent. The more light, the better the product! always!!

just get 4 or 5 cfls and make them adjustable so when the plant gets bigger you can move a light or two to the side of the plant for better penetration. i have three 20 watt cfls on one plant and im happy with what it does
