indoor grow just started

I just started my first grow a week ago. i currently have 2 lemon kush plants. i did the paper towel thing and then planted them in my pots. i have them in my closet running 24/7 with the lights on. is it normal for them to be like 10 inches high withen the fir 3 days of growth

Time to repot.
Plant most of that stem in the soil.

What kind of lights?
They may be too far away.

Its common. Let me guess they are tall with just 2 round leaves. This is ok. You may want to get them close to the lights if there not already.(keep in mind-- too much heat can be a big problem for you at this point) If your using CFL lights, put them about 3 inches from the top of the plant,and add a desk fan, sit back and watch how fast they grow. You might have to raise the light daily. Got to love it!
