Hey guys! Been super busy lately with my grow and I haven't posted much so I thought i'd give a little update on my plants.

I popped 5 beans 4 weeks ago. 2 Different phenos of liberty haze, LSD, Triple Cheese, and THC Bomb. I also ordered 2 gorrila lite line 4x4 tents and got them set up for veg/flowering. I plan on taking clones off of these plants and making them mothers so I save some time on veg.

New lighting arrangement, Got a 600 watt metal halide with a glass reflector hood and a digital 600 watt ballast so I can switch between HPS/MH. I can keep it around 10 inches away from my plants before it gets hot using my air conditioner. The tops temps stay around 70 at night, 80 during the day. I plan on using an extra 600 watt HPS when flowering comes around for 1200 watts!

Got a sweet new 25 plug aeroponic cloner too. Within 6 days Liberty Haze #1 already rooted!

LSD: Liberty Haze #1: Liberty Haze #2: Triple Cheese (little smaller): THC Bomb:

I also have only given them a 1/4 strength feeding once before transplanting. I have them all in 5 gallon smart pots with the first 5 pounds of soil being some organic compost and the rest is Happy frog. Have had great growth since the transplant last week and everything looks great. I'll keep you guys updated!

Subbed. I don't know about keeping a 600w hid 10" away from the tops I keep mine 18" away. If you plan on super cropping these plant it would give you more coverage if you went 18". Just my opinion I think they'll burn quick at 10" less you have a cool tube, even with the ac regulating room temperature the heat off the light alone will create heat stress and even burn the tops.

Sorry, should've explained the A/C a bit better. It's one of those portable ones thats designed for a room so it works great in a 4x4 tent, its literally blowing directly on the light and the tops so the light stays extremely cool. I can put my hand on the glass part without getting burned. Never tried super cropping before, might try it this time around if I get a sativa dominant pheno on any of these.

You can supercrop indicas as well. I'll post a vid on here in a bit, explains everything you need to know in 20 mins.

Nice vid, gonna try monster cropping one of my flowering outdoor plants.

Little update, added 2 4 tube T5 lights (253 watts of CFL and 600 watts of MH in total). Helped a bunch with promoting growth on the branches that aren't directly under the HID, I already took 2 more Liberty Haze clones.

I agree, once you have burnt the leaves from bleaching they dont come back which will reduce flower size and quality.

Hey guys, plants have really exploded in growth last couple weeks. Got 100% cloning success with the aeroponic cloner, so now I have 8 baby plants for the next cycle ready to go. Also popped a freebie seed called Grand Heft Auto for the hell of it. Flowering out the big girls sometime next week, they are all around 2 ft tall now.

Added air cooling to the hood of the MH light as well.

Like the side lights!

I do something similar but in a smaller space with 2-bulb flouros on the side and 400w HID

It really helps fill out the light spectrum during flowering (with HPS) and keeps the bottom branches going better i think

Got my other tent set up for flowering. Big girls have been under 12/12 for about 4 days now, should begin flowering this weekend.

All these grew about the same size, except for triple cheese. Got lots of rooms for them to stretch if needed, they stand at about 3 ft right now.

Starting to feed compost tea once a week now, noticed a few deficiencies on LSD and THC Bomb. Strange because all the plants have the same soil mix, but only those 2 are showing any deficiencies.

Found roots growing out of the smart pots, never seen that before I started using mykos.

I plan on adding a second 600 watt HPS to the tent aswell, temps have been staying nice and low during the night here in cali. I'll have a total of 1200 watts in this tent now, which is the most ive done. Pretty excited to see what I can pull off these girls this time around :weed:
