indoor closet grow (veg)(picture)

I have 5 plants that I started from a bunch of random seeds
I've been vegging for a little over a month and everything seems to be going well
I just wanted to get any advice or opinions...I've also been thinking about flowering within the next week what do you think?

-18/6 lighting
-1 26w cfl that puts out 100w (3 plants)(6500k)
-1 23w cfl that puts out 100w (2plants) (soft white 2700k bought wrong one but vegged majority of the time with a 6500k)
-CNS17 coco & soil formula (3-1-2)
-used soil that was left by previous home owners

They are also sometimes exposed to low temps. This is also a VERY low budget grow.

You need more CFLs and get them closer to plant, like 2-3" from tops. I to did my first 3 grows with CFLs and did very well but I had 12-14 CFLs for 1 plant. Your plants look healthy but the should be bigger than that after a month of veg...keep it up though. This site has everything you need to learn and more importantly understand.

i agree with benelli. don't flower, bulk em up a bit. even shop lights will help, but i'd go with t-5's....

I want to get more cfls but as of now this all I can afford....I thought they were growing a little slow ... when would be a good time to start flowering

What are t-5's?

T-5s are tube flouros. sold in many sizes from single 2' tube, double 2' tube...and so on. I plan on getting some soon but in the mean time go out and buy at least 6-8 26w 6500k bulbs. They are like $10 for 4 or 5 bulbs...it will help

get them lights right on top of the plants will help them out try and get a few more bulbs. maybe just add 1 at a time more lights going to help get bigger plants.getting the lights right down on top of the plants will help keep temps up a little aswell.try lining your closet with mylar sheeting to help reflect the light all round your plants that should help aswell and its cheap to buy. to get the best out of them babies you need to get more light as everyone has said.happy growing
