Yea man. 430 sounds random but the extra lumens couldnt hurt right...is this a grow light or just a regular hps fixture? Like a flood light?
Either way should be good! Just look into maximizing that light. Id flower freshly rooted clones or 12/12 from seed. You probably be able to squeeze a couple more plants in there that way.

I have the fixture... i think im gonna add a 1000 just testing out some midz right now until the 8 ball and ice kush comes in.. first time growing indoors... growing out doors too just letting grow until that time.... You no wat i mean lol

Eight plants, get a 1000 , or atleast a 600 sog style. and get a 250, 400, 600, or 1000 watt light(lights). Dont settle for those 430s. They seem like theyre high.
