Just saw soemthing on TV last night about how only one of these is technically considered cannabis...

I'd imagine ither way one is screwed if they are caught, but i figured someone here would know just what the hell that means and what the difference betweent hem is...

(btw which types are AK47 and Northern Lights?... i have some seeds that are a cross between these two)

I know a quick google could probly answer my questions.. so thanks in advance to any who feel the desire to use thir time to answer my lazy questions! bongsmilie

It doesn't matter in the eyes of the law.......they are all considered under the sativa genis (I believe that's the category). There has been a rumor going around that a good defense in court is that indica is not sativa, so it's not covered in the statute, therefore it's not illegal. That defense hasn't won since the 1970's, and even then, might have won once or twice before all the states changed the wording to include everything- sativas, indicas and rudellalis (how ever it's spelled).

I would like to know the outcome of a court decision from that guy in Cali on TV that you are talking about.
Sounds like bullshit to me, (even sounds silly just to say it.) otherwise wouldn't you see cops asking everybody they stopped on "Cops" asking them if their shit was Indica or Sativa?

northern lights is an indi. ak47 is commonly accepted to be a hybrid of haze or jack herer : skunk and afghan. most AK47 strains have a sativa high that comes from the haze in their genetics but they flower faster thanks to the indica in their genetics.

indicas produce a down body high or even put you to sleep. indica plants stay short, flower fast, have fat thick leafs, and rock hard buds. most indicca flower in 6 to 9 weeks

sativas are tall lanky plants with thin leafs and fluffy buds. the high they produce is usually more heady and uppity. most sativa strains flower in 10-14 weeks

most strains these days are a hybrid of indica and sativa.

did you really ask this?... cops aren't going to ask you a question to keep you out of jail... maybe if you said, its indica itd b different... but if you dont no the law, punk ass cops will ALWAYS push their limits!

Legally speaking, it's about the definition of "marihuana" in the Controlled Substances Act, which serves as the basis for most state laws. It doesn't make a distinction between sativa and indica (or ruterallis), and neither do any state laws that I've ever heard about. I may not know a lot about growing, but I know I wouldn't recommend following that advice.

That's what I was saying man.
I think you misunderstood me, or I misunderstood you.
It is downright silly to think the variety of leaf is going to have a bearing on whether or not you are cited or not.
