indica dominant, outdoors, How far from harvest?

This indica dominant seems further along than the other I have growing. Pic I am posting isn't the best. Need to pick up a better camera. But my pistols seem to be receded into the bud in the top 25% of the bud but not under the top 25%. Also I look at my tricomes by pulling one of the small bud leaves and carry it to a suitable location to look at. I see a couple amber spots on the tricome heads but don't wont to pull it up to soon. It's been outside since April.IMG_0149.jpgIMG_0149.jpgIMG_0149.jpg

Check your trichs and if the majority are cloudy harvest. You don't want too much amber and that's what will happen if you let it go too long.

I read that taking a small bud leaf off of the bud to examine the trichs is sufficient. Does that sound accurate? should I be looking at the trichs at the top of the cola, the bottom, middle or all the above? And is it unheard of for an outside indica to be ready this early? Thanks for the help.

I check the trichs of the top bud only. I don't worry much about bottom because I use it for hash

It looks like it can go a little longer the top should be ready the quickest so check all trichomes if your not please with bottoms you can chop the head off and let it bush out some more.A buddy of mine plants in june and harvest in october (outdoor) so you should be good just wait a couple more weeks tho like sunshine said

Appreciate the advice, still haven't got any better pics. I'll check back in when I get some better pics.
