Increasing Drying with Heat

recently harvested a couple o plantss, during harvest i placed a couple of branches in the vicinity of a fan forced heater in order to increase drying time. Can this be detrimental to the bud potency and wil it do much?

yes...heat and light degrade the thc content of the plant!there is no really quick way to dry your weed with out losing some potency.best advice is BE PATIENT....peace!

Sock weed?

i found that if i dry my bud quickly it drasticly affects my overal yield ,so now its in cool dark place with about 30% humidity with slight breeze blowing across them those buds can take as long as they like,
you will thank yourself you took the time to do it right another thing make sure it is dark in there as the plant can still try to photosynthesis even though its been chopped

Slow drying is the best way to go. I go for roughly a 5 day dry while the bud is hanging still on the branches, and then another two day dry on screens cut from the branches. Flowers are still going under many metabolic processes after you cut it - these processes help further breakdown the nasty stuff so if you flash dry it you end up with a much harsher smoke with half the flavor.
