In the dark

Do any of you put your girls in the dark for 48 hrs when going from veg 18/6 to 12/12 for flowering????

why does everyone constantly try to out-think the room?

yeah ive never done that.

Some say it helps accelerate the process. Im not sure though i wonder how much stress this puts on the plant

i did 24 hrs dark before flower once. pistils showed pretty fast once 12/12 started. this could be coincidence
