In need of some advice!

Posted the following in one of the sticky threads like a week ago and no replies!Hey guys! Just a n00b here tryin to get some info. I've done my homework and will be ready to get started real soon. I have some seeds already but I got no clue what the hell they are! I'm thinking of ordering some just so I can start with something I'll be more comfortable with. My only dilemma is shipping! I'm no longer in Canada and shipping needs to be discreet as possible. How discreet? Not even in a dvd or cd case as they will think it's pirated software or something. I think Attitude (?) can send with a shirt but I definitely don't want a shirt with a big leaf on it! To top it all off, the package must be couriered (FedEx, DHL, etc.) as any other mail is sent to a post office and you MUST go collect it. From what I gather azarius.net is the only place that mentions FedEx on their site but I haven't really read any positive reviews about their website.I'm really not a paranoid guy, just tryin to find out all I can before I take the plunge!

Sorry...no advice. I found my seeds.

From what I've read, the more reputable places use good stealth methods.

So you think I should give the seeds I already got a chance? I was really interested in trying some of these auto-flowering strains as I don't have much space and they seem like a perfect fit for my needs.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is which vendor uses the best stealth methods and if possible what are these methods. I've given this a lot of thought but I would feel a lot better if I knew how the package would arrive. I see this forum has no PM (please correct me if I'm wrong) so if this information is too sensitive to be posted someone just let me know!

Also, if any places offer FedEx/DHL or something I'd really appreciate some links/info.

i went through the same process, very sketched about buying seeds
first point, as many will point out, ordering seeds is the safest part of the process
it's growing that should give you cold sweats, that's the dangerous part
as far as the super stealth, which is often not very stealthy at all
packages are searched much more often than letters, i've done letter orders(which are also the cheapest shipping) and gotten every order with no problems

I hope it's the safest part of the process! The rest I feel confident about, a lil discreet cabinet in my room should work out and I'm hoping that carbon filter works out well. I obviously won't be selling as this will be for personal use and most people around these parts won't even recognize that sweet smell of some dank.I was real worried about all this talk of "super stealth" but I just had a feeling that these places are so busy how can they really make it stealthy let alone SUPER stealthy. Can you provide some details as to what place gave you the best packaging? I don't think letters are a option for me here as the mail here is real unreliable. I was hoping to find a place that wouldn't mind having the seeds couriered, I obviously don't mind if it's more expensive.

i can't give you too many details on the stealth 'ranking'
Attitude is a reputable bank that has a lot of shipping options, maybe a bit more expensive than other banks
Nirvana seems to get rave reviews for many on their stealth shipping, low priced seeds, some don't like them for various reasons, but they've been around a long time
i have used nirvana seeds for some grows, i was happy with the results

Thanks for the advice guys. Nirvana and Attitude were def on my short list from my own research, but it looks like Nirvana might have better packaging options and what not. Still hoping for someone to pop out and gimme one with a FedEx/DHL option!Wish I just brought some back with me last time i was in Amsterdam!!!!You think auto-flower seeds would be alright with a noob? I've been around weed forever but never tried growing it for myself. The short harvest time and their short height sound real nice.

i'm have no experience with the auto's, so this is just my own opinion and best guesses
for outdoors, and up in the higher latitudes(like myself), i'd definitely try auto's, the north lands are very unpredictable for their growing season
for indoor, some seem to like them, i'm sure some of the strains do well indoors
but many regular varieties can be done in small spaces, i know this because i've been growing with 78w of cfl's, and get very good results(sometimes, not all grows are perfect)

My project is also gonna be CFL in a small space. Most likely a small cabinet (81 inches tall). From what I've read autos do well in small places and I would only need the one space as they remain on the same light cycle the whole time. If I used regular seeds I'd have to have 2 spaces no? Like one for flowering and one for early stages? I am a noob so advice on issues like this will help a lot too!!

I already have access to regular seeds which are unknown, so if I pussy out of ordering I might just have to do it the non-auto way.

81 inches is huge for a micro grow, which is what this sounds like
the extra height may not help much, because the cfl light intensity falls off fairly quick, the bulbs just aren't that intense
my chamber is 38 inches tall, i've managed to fit everything i've tried in there
you don't absolutely have to have 2 spaces, i veg and flower 1 plant in 1 chamber
but everyone has different needs

LMAO dude I dont even know what I'm saying man, it's 35 inches, 81 cm. So I got a lil bit less space then u in the height department. Yeah I figured I would try doing 2 or 3 plants at a time, which is possible with autos. If I used regular seeds I'd just have to do the 1 plant at a time then?

that's reasonably roomy, there's the technique called LST(low stress training) thsat can let you fit plants in a very short height, i've done that a few times
i see where you're coming from on the autos/1 chamber, that does let you have multiple plants going in 1 chamber
i'd say be careful on the yields with auto's some don't give you much
i think the auto genetics are all over the place, seen some bad stories, some good stories, you'll need to do some homework on choosing

auto-flower often result in hermaphroditic plant with unfinished seed in the bud & limited quality smoke. If the seed you already own came from good quality stuff i wouldn't take any risk ordering by courier as it's more subject to inspection than regular mail + you save the cash.

Honestly man I spend so much money here on just hash I'm not even concerned. I guess the general consensus is that I should just give this seed a shot and see what happens. If I LST would I be able to grow 2 plants in 35" H x 27" W x 15.5" L? Would LST be too difficult for a first grow?

I might just try out these seeds in the meantime, I'm just not looking forward to the 4 months waiting time.. I got someone close coming and I may ask em to bring a few auto's with them.

I also read in another thread (which was years old) of one place that sends the seeds inside a wallet? That sounds like a great idea to me. Anyone know where I can get shipping like that?

nirvana does the wallet shipping, kind of famous for being very stealthy in the wallet
as far as lst and being a beginner, it's not a hard method, getting started is nerve wracking

Yeah this whole wallet idea got me interested. I seen some vids of LST and it def looks like a good idea if I go regular instead of auto. I'm sure all you good folk will be able to help me out too! That's why I love smokers man, friendliest people in the world, bar none. I didn't even start yet and I'm gettin nothin but love. I appreciate it guys. On the Nirvana website it says there's no tracking at all w/ stealth shipping and priority mail. How would I even know when to go pick it up from the post office ?

i got my nirvana seeds from another bank, so haven't had nirvana shipping

if you do closet cultivation I recommend you use a strain like northern light it's a very good strain for small space & it's also a good choice for beginner. The last time i ordered from the Attitude seed bank the t-shirt ad a big American eagle in the front & purchasing it also guarantee your delivery, they resend if it get seized by custom.
