In need of first grow advice.

I plan on growing in hopefully a month and have done quite a lot of reading on indoor growing methods so here is just some info and idea's iv'e had.

Hydroponic and bubbleponic type growth.

Space and discretion is an issue so i was thinking of going with the SuperLocker 3.0 from a website (won't name it I don't wanna get banned lol)

I was going to use Nutes from botanicare mainly PBP Grow and PBP Bloom CAL-MAG, and the regular PH up and PH down.

Brita Water purification as funds are too tight for RO reserve.

250w HPS Bulb and Ballast

If anyone can give money saving tips or even some help it would be greatly appreciated.

The most space i can use at the moment is a decent size closet about 8 ft. High, 5ft wide, and 6 ft long.

Im open to all advice and criticism thank you! :3

Nice choices, everything you need to yield some good bud. I like the nute regimen. Those super lockers are kinda pricey though! My one tip, is eBay. You can buy everything you need (tents, RO filter, carbon scrubber) for way less than one of those super lockers. RO filters are like 60-70 bucks. You can get tent combos that already have the HPS, hood, fans, filters, for like half the price of the super locker. Those are pretty cool though, just a bit steep from what I could find.

But yea man, your on the right track either way, you'll be growing fire in no time. Check eBay out if you've got a minute though, you'd be surprised how much cheaper (and safer) everything is. I found no loss in quality either compared to other options.

Thank you so much I will look on Ebay now and im defiantly considering your options more at this point. Thanks for the advice and compliments. :) I agree that it is a steep price maybe even a bit over priced so that is why im getting all the help I can lol. Is stealth ever an issue with a grow tent. I've heard Horror tales of the police choppers that do heat scans heh so Idk.

I'm pretty sure the whole heat detection FLIR thing is a bit exaggerated. Yes they can detect heat, but they need a warrant to look. So lets say they do it with out a warrant and try it anyways.. If you have 1 or 2 tents that are 4 foot cubes, its gonna be such a small amount of heat that they aren't gonna send out a swat team to take out your 4-10 plant grow ya know? Idk, I have 2 tents and they aren't even that warm and my hoods are cool to the touch, so I don't even think they put out much of a heat signature.

Now if you've got your whole basement rigged with 15 1000w HID lamps, then yea, maybe I can see it gathering attention from the law.

I have been using tents for years now, with no trouble. Plus they make odor and temp control quite easy.

I wouldn't do a hydro or bubble on a first grow. Organic soil is better for you and the plants. Easier too.

Other piece of advice, if stealth is important, get a vpn for computer and phones and have grow gear shipped to PO box or friends place.

Forget about the choppers, your little grow puts out less heat than my clothes dryer.

We all go through the paranoia at the start. Just stay on your toes and don't forget the three rules of not getting caught.

I was going to buy something like that locker but instead chose the eBay/ Amazon route and pieced it together. Saved big bucks. My initial setup was prob $600 (tent, 6 dwc buckets w/ pump, 600w digital hps/mh, carbon filter, inline fan, speed controller and nutes).

My first grow was dwc buckets. I enjoyed it and got some good yields, can be time consuming. Now I'm doing full organic tga super soil. No nutes or nothing.
