In need of advise for 1st hydro grow!

I'm looking for a second opinion if available. I hhave "flushed" these last two weeks with bud candy and ph balanced city water. Now, I called the dude at the local grow shop for some advise about putting the plants bqack on nutes and which ones(if any). He said I did it just right, two weeks of flushing then put back on nutes for two weeks at 50% petency. Im using "roots organic arura" ( don't know if I can name drop, sorry if I effed up) 1 part for bloom. ive had them on this since week 6(besides flush). before it was 2 part GH. If u need to know what they were on before in detail, ask. im in week 12 going on 13 and I have only about 1% amber triches. in all, they are on that 1 part bloom, bud candy, floralicious plus and calimag pumped up to 200PPM instead of 50. What is your opinion on this(anyone please)? the main problem is they wont ripen... its diesel #1. if im not mistaken, that is sativa dominant and normally takes a while, right...? I have pics. its one LARGE plant. any advise is good, or if u need more info i'll tell you. 600 w hps lamp and I know its not ph issuses. I know theyre are a lot of variables, just ask for detail. please and thank you View attachment 2853304View attachment 2853305View attachment 2853306View attachment 2853307View attachment 2853308View attachment 2853309

Everything looks dark and yellow. I cant make a good educated guess if I cannot see the colors of the leaves and bud. I am not sure if that looks unhealthy or the buds are just heavy enough to pull the branches down. I know that sour diesel is an 8 week strain. Not sure on pure diesel.

yeah they're just that heavy. they needed to get away from the light a bit anyway so no need to twine em up. hold on im gonna upload some better pics. camara blows with that ray of HPS in the room. dark cycle starts in fifteen mins, ill get some flashing pics in the dark.... heres these for nowP1030713.jpgP1030714.jpgP1030715.jpgP1030716.jpg

I can tell ya this: unequivocally the airpump/airstone combo is 10X LESS reliable than rigging a powerhead/water pump for aeration... I know this from not owning over literally hundreds of pumps & power heads but from a DEAD plant thanks to a clogged airstone

I wish I could post a pic of my new setup but basically I pump water in from the top of my DWC in a jet spray into the water (sorta a RDWC thing) grow setup.jpg hell...it worked....

yeah im sure that adds a good ratio of aeration too. too much, they get "lazy". not enough, well, locked out and rot. very well spread out too.. I think im gonna do that, I have a pump in mind but im wondering about how much psi or gph or w/e is too much? can the roots move constantly and still be "tricked"?

Well the 1st thing you look for is how much heap pressure a pump can yield (as opposed to strictly GPH/LPH) ... I used a Lifeguard Quiet one 2200 for about $29 on Amazon ....
In my experience, you sorta take your chances with the cheaper Asian Rio's, Taams, et but they are worth it if you keep a spare...I wouldn't go for less than 400GPH @ 6ft/head ....recommend Maxijet 1200 for 1 tub

also recommend a pump that is "dual purpose" (submerged or in-line), that way you are not heating your water with a submerged pump
