Anyone have a platinum cross that doesnt taste kind of plain... Where the SNOBS at... tryed plat x zkittles and pkb remix... they look amazing but seems like the terps are weak... not user error

Jelly Breath S1 at 6 week mark, grown SoG style.

Tiny to medium sized buds and 2/5 seeds hermed, and no I'm not bitching about herms here, this puts me on 3 herms out 450 seeds grown from IHG.
Not the best strain for seed grows, but with the intense frost I'm sure it's possible to find something nice in a phenohunt of 10-20 seeds.
I highly recommend the Jelly Breath crosses but like all S1's this seems below par for non-hunt grows :)

Yes, the Platinum Jelly, Masterpiece, and Decepticon I've grown were very to extremely terpy. Platinum Terple and Crystal Cookies were next level.

I think the Sugar Cane and Platinum Skywalker I've had were kinda bland though.

I've smoked it like 5x since seeing this msg to try to formulate a half decent answer.

Smell was really muted on the plant, was surprising with how frosted it looked, not the terpiest pheno, mainly smells earthy and a bit like a plat. The taste is pretty good, i think the menthol is coming thru a lot on this one. Cuz I've never smoked it but have both khalifa and plat, while I'm getting a bit of them, it taste more like an earthy, sharp mint taste, maybe a tiny sweetness to it. Idk but now that it has cured up it packs a solid punch too, prob the best one from this recent run. Maybe top 2 with the oreoz x king sherb.

Running it again now to see if I can dial it in better
 
Anyone have a quick up to date recommendation for the highest yielding FIRE seeds they offer?
I've got two cultivars now that look really good, and they are having a sale tomorrow, so I'm potentially wanting to get more, but I don't know.....Things are changing quickly in the scene. You have HSC doing triploids... the next best thing!!!! RIGHT!!!?????

KKB v2 is def worthy of trying and shows stability for most part,I even know another user who bought same pack and ran 6 seeds and had similiar results ( no hermies )

this round I’m running 4 diff 5-6 seed packs, I’ll update when harvested and have results. Only downfall was I didn’t have any main sqft for KKB v2 plants and they will only have that space if I find any hermies/males there. ethier way I have indoor/out to test/sample and everyone who has liked KKB v2

I just ordered a pack of KKB v2 from North Atlantics 420 sale.
Is it very terpy, and what is the smell & taste like?

kkb v2 was very nice, 4 of 6 were very nice plants, ran 3 pheno’s 3 times and 4th run finalized the best one. Zero hermies and all 6 females were vigors and high yielding. kkb v2 worked great under high ppfd and indoors but also was amazing outdoors, zero budrot and produced amazing .


Dont keep many phenos when I hunt ( way lower than 1%) but kkb v2 is still around and kicking it , patients love it . One i got is pure purple, lil hair and dipped in crustals, really nice kush smell and taste. produces pebbles and great node spacing . Perfect buds for modern market


smell kushy hash plant with gas, sherb , spicy , skunky

taste sour, funky , hashy, minty & a lil soapy with some ceder wood

Not sure, I only popped one from it so far haha

this is a clone, performing way better than the mother did. But i think the mother got stunted in veg, it barely stretched at all in bloom, the smell was great but growth and potency weren't up to par.

im expecting a lot better results this run. It's definitely rainbow belt leaning when it comes to smell
