According to the email he posted on his instagram, he was told he is not allowed to answer any questions nor defend himself or his company, or tell people where they can get his gear without riu getting their beak wet and getting a taste. The idea being that would be considered advertising and wouldn't be fair to the other advertisers.

Seems odd, and I never thought he was advertising (if anything, the opposite), but it certainly limits the relevancy of riu, imo.

I guess this is why we can't have nice things.

Actually, for accuracy's sake:

Tranquil Elephantizer = Snow Lotus (F) x 88g13/hp (M)

TE Remix = 88g13/hp (F) x Snow Lotus (M)

TE Remix V2 = 88g13/hp F3 (F) x Snow Lotus (M)

So technically, all three are distinct variations and could be Limited in their own respective releases.

I actually did not say anything negative about IHG.

That was my first post in this thread, I didnt know you already knew my opinion. I had been keeping eye on IHG threads for researching purposes with the thought of possibly acquiring their genetics...

I will try to not further interrupt the fine folks here who are posting nice pics and looking to learn information...unless necessary for free and open debate : )

Yeah dude appreciate the heads up , like mentioned here earlier , i got stuck in a todler tent last grow and got a bit lax in vege , some would say greedy , hit the switch for flower and ran out of room so quick , even hit very high humidity for a couple of days and lost a real nice cola that had been leaning against the tent wall sweating , but i noticed that and nearly died because id never seen my beautiful flowers feel wet and fall apart worh the brown mold :-( man that was a hard lesson , but like All gardeners that give a shit i defoliated a little and added airflow and a/c and only evet lost that one cola

im going to repost this here so that all members can read my statement on it in hopes of helping the situation.


I would let to set the record straight about what breeders (who are not advertisers) can and cannot do here.
There is some confusion stemming from a company who was asked to stop advertising their products on here.

They Breeders can answer questions about their products and they can talk about their products
they can "defend" and i say that lightly, their products.

They cannot sell their products on rollitup
They cannot use our forum to do :
Orders
Order payment processing
Money transactions
Order problems IE: where is my package
Order returns, etc.


Basically they just cant use our forum for their own personal business problems like customer service inquiries about products already in place.
First and foremost because order numbers, personal addresses and money issues shouldnt be posted openly to protect user security as our website is public.
But they can certainly answer questions about their products

This whole issue has stemmed from a breeder who was pushing their products on our website , it was free advertisement, and it was nicely asked to be stopped as it is unfair on our paid advertisers.
They were told they could certainly be apart of rollitup as a member/breeder.
Unfortunately some information was confused as we use a general statement greeting to people who are free advertising. and now several people are confused about what is okay with breeders and what isnt.

I will correct the information in the general statement so that we do not have this problem again

Several people have come forward with confusion on if they can defend their company position, I say lightly because the last time someone defending themselves on here they were not defending but breaking rules. So if you want to defend yourself, please do so in a manner that doesnt have name calling involved.

Advertising is particularly new to rollitup so we are working out the kinks and issues as they come , and we certainly are doing our best to make sure we have a forum that both best represents user freedom and advertisers rights. So that advertisers and users/members can all use the forum together in harmony and enjoy their forum experience.

I certainly hope this clears up any confusion and thank you to everyone with their patience involved in this.

I know All you guys know the latest gear , its evident atleast a few runs have been done, im not after the latest and greatest , or the most potent , just after a true purp strain that tastes good . And is easy to cultivate for the less advanced grower , yield isnt that important as im happy to extend vege period , and having something that scrogs well would be an extra bonus , ive supercropped and trained heaps but too often get gready and overcrowd before flowering !
