my seeds just germed today and i put them in my pot. i have two questions.

1. in the stage im in now (whatever the fuck its called) how much sunlight and water do the plants need? keep in mind they just germed today. im sure they shouldn't get as much water but more sunlight if im correct (although i'm probably not lol)

2. i barely ahve any soil in my pot. i will need to uproot my plant sooner or later. can this kill the plant?

its an outdoor/indoor grow. i usually try to get it natural sunlight during the day. but if its a bad day out i'll use my shitty grow lamp. but coming up in september weather will be getting colder so let's assume this will be a mostly indoor grow.

and doesn't watering every 3 days sound a little bit farfetched? My other plants (which were taken away from me lol) were watered about every day and grew fairly nicely. but i wanted to see if there was a specific routine i should be following to keep my plants as healthy as possible. thanks for all the help though guys and i hope you can respond to this with more info :)

I use to water my plant everyday and its small even though its a month and a half in and the i was told that its better to water when the soil is dry. so i would say give it lots of sunlight and then water once the soil is dry :):weed:

My best say in this is to go with sunlight until you upgrade to a better light setup? and for water just give it a few drops like every 6 hours, thats what i did in my first week or so and it worked pretty well i would say, goodluck with this ! :)

that stage is called the seedling stage. i usually keep mine watered once a day until the plant developes 3 nodes of foilage(leaves), and has a good developing stem. until this is achieved i would suggest using cfl lamps to get it to the 4th node(I use a 150 w replacement daylight cfl per plant<or two>) these lamps if placed properly 4or 5 inches above the seedling promotes good compact(non strecting)growth. then after the 4th node is there, turn on your HID lamps and continue to grow. ohh about transplanting into a new pot.... water first...then transplant into your new soil...then water again... be careful and gentle as possible seeing rough handling of the root system will stress a lady and make it become a cross dressing hermaprodite. YES get it out of that small pot soon as possible so the roots can finish properly developing and growth will not be slowed later, plus from what i can tell from experience the foilage developes better when the roots have good room to spread from the get go! I usually(unless breeding) use feminized seeds because i can immediately place them directly in large enough pots to use its whole life cycle, eliminating the need for transplanting!!!!!!

By the way i usually get such good results from the cfls in seedling stage i even start outdoor plants under them! look up cfl grows on you tube and you will see the potential capabilities of these lights some people even flower and grow out the whole plants. however yield is comprimised greatly most of the time. I have pesonally seen an associate of mine grow a White widow out under 2 100w replacement cfls, and 2 150W soft white cfls. he topped it at 6in and pulled a 243gram yield. He did have the most elabrate cfl reflectors made himself which helped utilize every bit of light from the bulbs. for instructions on how to make these check out "How to build a cheap cfl grow lamp" on you tube!!! i have made these too but only use them in my flowering room. they are ingenuis, and lovely for the plants! seriously check it out it may solve your lighting issues very cheap!
