well lets starts off by welcoming you to my thread and thankyouing (not a word but who cares) for checking it out :p

ive grown in the past and had some good success but im going to try it different this year.

my plan is to use dirt from the woods around me from a plot where the dirt is a nice black color and has a GREAT clean earthy soil smell. the reason im going to use this is the old timers in my neighborhood used to use this plot, and they knew they were setting it up for us future growers to use. well im not going to use the plot only the dirt. what they did was plant ferns about 35 years ago and all they have been doing is growing and dying and composting, and growing and dying and composting. a lot of deer go back in this certain spot along with rabbits and i swear im seeing bore tracks now, so theres manure going into it also. theres a shit ton of worms also, hey look another plus :D:D. im also going to amend it with black kow manure from lowes

so im going to use that dirt, now going to be called soil. im going to take it to my back yard and im going to be digging 2 ft wide and as deep as i possibly can, holes.

Heres where my questions come into play, or the part where you can "improvise" on.

I want to throw whole fish at the bottom of the hole about maybe 2 feet down and maybe three also. Im thinking 2 at the 3 foot line and one chopped up into smaller pieces at the 2 foot line. hows that sound?

the fish im gonna be using has already been felayed and frozen. im thinking that the only bad thing is that i dont have the skins on it and i have no idea if the blood is out of it i would imagine not, but im not no fish mechanic ya know :p. do you think i should just use fresh caught fish? either way is no problem. i am wondering if i do have to go out and catch some fish should they be salt or fresh water? and how big should they be?

im gonna mix one bag of MG peat moss in ( i know MG ) im thinking if i mix it in at smaller quantity per hole it should be okay would you agree? im talking about maybe a handfull or two per hole mid way down.

im also going to get a couple bags of perlite, some dolomite lime, unsulpherd molasses, and some other things. i want to use some bone and blood meal, but i dont know if my budget will allow it. IFFFF my budget cant afford it (look i know its cheap but my whole life is not going to revolve around this grow. i got bills to pay, other weed to buy, and cigs and food that i need and the plants dont :p) what would you recommend on using thats cheap that i could buy at a grocery store like tomatoes or something just to give it that little extra N veg and P for flowering?

what i do is fill reservoirs ( garbage cans ) and leave them outside to sit with the lid off till i use all my water. do you see a problem with that? ive done it plenty of times and it worked great but what are the pros and cons of oxygenated air and not?

thats about it for right now i know im forgetting a couple questions but this thread will be here and ill be posting and responding as much as i can.

but yeah thanks for stopping by and reading and thanks so much if you reply.
KEEP IT EASY, AND STAY HIGHHHHH AS FUCKKKKKK:bigjoint: lol, but really stay high

Ya know, you had me all with ya with the ferns composting.., I thought.., okay, this could be good, I'd be for testing the ph of that soil for sure though.., And it could be pretty hot. Then you start adding manure and all i'm thinking is the weeds that come with the chit, and again, might be a little hot (nitrogen content) As for the fish, me being a fish mechanic of sorts, if your lookin for the fishes blood, you should probably bury the whole thing cause all you have in a filet is the meat of the fish. It'll still compost, but fertiulizer isnt going to be you rissue I wouldnt imagine as much as availibility of everything else but the N. Good Luck with it. And Again, I have no idea what you have for soil but in my opinion, thats what I would look for.

that's a great idea.

there's a journal somewhere of a guy who did that same thing and he got like 2 lbs dry off a HUGE plant. i'm talking MASSIVE. he did not fertilize. he just watered and the fish worked as natural fertilizer.

he dug a foot and a half hole, threw like 10 rather large fish in there, and that's it. he did say he left it like 2 months rotting. so you'll want to do it somewhat in advance....

he was from australia, he was like: my nearest neighbor is 50 km down the street, i got a gazzilion acres of land...

the plant was right outside his front door, part of his landscaping....

@SimplySmokin
i know i got the N covered and the K i am a little worried on the P though. i started researching compost and the NPK's of random things a while ago and i stumbled upon this cool ass chart well two cool ass charts :p
http://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-forum/showthread.php?28889-Look-what-ive-just-found-npk-values-for-loads-of-stuff!
and
http://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-forum/showthread.php?194-Organic-nutrient-chart

theyre somewhat alike so im gonna go ahead and put some of those to test for the P and hopefully itll be straight.
but if your into organics and composting and shit id check those two charts out the first one list some crazy sheit :p

@cowasaki
yeah i was thinking that but im glad i got two peoples opinion and you guys both said the same thing :p im defiantly going to go for the whole fish now.

@redivider
ha awesome hopefully that is whats gonna happen, well thats what im shooting for atleast :p im glad you told me about that though im prolly gonna use 8 all together and chop them up and space them through on the outer edges of the hole to make make the roots go farther out and reach for the nutes, and maybe put some in the middle. you know what fuck it man i may just mix it into the soil, idk ill just figure that out when i do it :p i knew i had to compost it before hand also:p but could you imagine having a huge plant just chillin out side your front door :p id go out front to smoke my stoges, my plant would love me man :p

ps- i use alot of smiley faces haha, ill have to slow down on that

dude if your gonna grow in your back yard why not just save your energy and buy a complete soil or amend with a planting mix?

Try to keep it simple til you are dialed in.Organic is the shit but it takes alot of time to master.These guys have mentioned all the reasons why.If you absolutely must go organic I would buy some guano.No pests or ants that way.Check out some of Subcool's links he is the man as far as organic.Go Sloooow

just throw in some lime and multipurpose fert ,throwing a dead animal in there may encourage disease in your plants and attracts wild dogs.
