Most working families today do not have homes that have anywhere near ten rooms. John McCain has ten houses. Many working people in America have to work two and three jobs to provide for their families and pay their car loans. John McCain hops on a private jet. Is it any wonder why McCain champions a George Bush agenda of cutting taxes for corporations and the wealthy, helping oil companies turn record profits, and leaving working families to fend for themselves? McCain's velvet world leaves him utterly unprepared to make the tough choices we need to restore the middle class and ensure that everyone in America has quality, affordable health insurance.........

So, why don't you own a 165 foot Yacht? Because your yearly salary most likely wouldn't even support the maintainance on the engines, right? So, my advise to you would be ... don't by a huge yacht. So, by the same token, if one's earnings wouldn't support a family, why would one have a family? Oh, I get it, because one can always fall back on the forced extraction of funds from one's fellow citizens at the point of government's gun if need be, right? Sure, why not ... have tons of kids, eat whatever shit you want to eat, never exercise ... and then rely on someone else to pay for your medical bills through a government program.

If John McCain owns ten homes, more power to him. What would you do, pass a law limiting people to a certain degree of ownership? Are you in league with Med, and his fascistic mindset on this issue, who recently posted in this forum that "There is too much ownership?"

Viredd, do you really think that the lower class in this nation isn't enslaved to make the top 2% richer? Go to college spend 80k over 4 years and then work for me for 40k a year for the rest of your life, muwahahahaha. Is this really what life is about? REALLY?

Or, he has set a sterling example of what we are all, as Americans, capable of achieving. I'll stick with mine. You're already stuck on yours.

If you would have worded your question a little differently I may have some agreement with you. For example, if you would have asked if I thought that minimum wage laws were holding a certain segment of our society in poverty, I would have answered yes, of course.

To answer your general question; no, I don't think anyone is enslaved in this country ... at least not yet. Not until the entire thought process of the Democratic Party is in place will we be enslaved. And ... I don't believe we have a "class system" in this country either ... even as much as the socialist/fascists are striving to bring us one.

If you are in what you consider a 40k a year dead-end job, may I suggest that you try commissioned sales? This is a field where the more you make, the more your boss and the owner of the company likes you. The only true boss a commissioned salesman has is the customer. If you have balls enough to sell for a living, you can leave that corporate bullshit behind you. The only "class" distinction in commissioned sales is ... those who produce and those who do not.

Of course, there is a major drawback in commissioned sales though. To be successful, one must put aside one's victim-hood mentality, and that is very hard for Americans today, as most have been brainwashed by our indoctrinating centers known as "public" schools.

I would vote for Paul if the R's had the balls to nominate him.
