survived.. yes, you have survived. that is a great word for what you have had to do

see i dont have to worry about "surviving" because my health care is offered free.

not a bad idea, but conservative trash will never do that
For over 200 years our tax dollars have gone to bolster our national military. For over 200 years we have gotten along without socialized medicine, on a national scale, at least:clap:. What has changed in this world, besides the entitlement mentality of weak willed citizens, that would demand these facts "change", and drastically at that.

Terrorism is an invention by the government to keep us afraid, and therefore, in check. Now let me clarify...yes, there ARE terrorists.Their names are George Bush and Dick Cheney.
You mean John McCain and Sara Palin, right? I understand, this all must be very confusing to you......:dunce:

keep people afraid and they will have to kiss your ass and not ask questions to make sure that they get "protected"

with the state that the U.S. has put their citizens in they will vote for the person willing to "protect" them the best... and ufortunately that is McCain... and he will get voted in... unfortunately the "other america" is too small to make a difference yet

but if we keep spreading the word one day we will all have freedom
You moving to Cuba?

It's not an entitlement mentality...it's realistic...when soaring healthcare costs are out of the reach of most hardworking Americans, then something must be done. It's not asking for a handout to expect reasonable healthcare and preventative medicine so we actually have the stamina to work and do our share, and the ability to pursue the "American Dream."

Reality is what you make of it. In reality, people used to work long hours.....and I don't mean 40 long.....:-o

That's what most in power count on Chuck, They put out bullshit and it scares people and they get out and vote against people who would make a real difference in this world.

Personally I think we are fucked either way this election goes.
there is no candidate either democrat or republican or third party who has any plan that will get the United States out of the bind it is currently in.

Obama won't be able to do what he wants, McCain will just do more of the same, as would Bob Barr. And any other candidate is just a joke.

I'm fairly well versed in history,cco...I know all about child labor, and the time before regulations were put into place to protect workers. If you recall, wages weren't so hot for the working man back then, so basically, you lived to work. And yes, you do have to accept your share of responsibility for your destiny, but if there are only minimum or low wage jobs to be had,and you can't afford to go to college, it looks like somethings been decided for you, to a degree, doesn't it?

yea, another instance of the u.s. fucking up... they dont increase minimum wage with inflation. natural resources (such as food and oil) are costing more but the average joe isnt getting paid more to buy these neccesities... our minimum wage is going to be over 10$ an hour by 2010.. and it goes up every year.... and dont forget, your dollar isnt worth much more than mine

why do you think the auto industry has hit the fan? because the average joe cant afford to drive, live and eat.. let alone pay for expensive health care

Having liberty means reaping what you sow, for better or for worse. When one is free to decide ones outcome, fate is often two sided. The ability to choose means that nothing is set in stone. Unless of course you're into Calvinism. Then you're right.;)

I always liked the saying, "You vote with your feet." If you don't like where you're at, move. (figuratively or literally)

I thought the American auto industry was on the ropes because of employee/union benefit packages, including life-long health care, of course.

Wrong. Its because people can't afford to put gas in the cars the companies are (well now it's "were") producing. Now it has moved on to the credit crunch that is stopping people. Oh, and the fact that we are in a Recession might be another cause.

yep, that is what your government has led you to believe. The reality of it is that the japanese can make a better quality vehicle for less. Not to mention soaring oil prices. End of story.

People need vehicles, but they just arent buying american made anymore because they can get a cheaper BETTER vehicle buying japanese.

What the fuck are you talking about? 7 years ago Palin was a new mayor of a town of 8,000 people. How could she of invented "terror"?
I'm talking about the habitual behavior of libs. Vilify the President and VP. Vilify those that will improve your life. Vilify those that live what you espouse. Vilify others, as an agent of "change".
