Pretty much all ways, physical and mental. I know a little about it and I know that once you've been in combat, you're never the same again. the horrors that one sees, dead children, body parts scattered all over, the actual act of commiting these atrocities, it does funny things to the human mind. I was in an ordanance company so my exposure was limited, but I saw enough to turn my stomach. Lord knows what these brave young men and women have witnessed.

Just yesterday, I yelled "Fuck You", loud, 3 times even, to a scattered group of 30 or so "war protesters". Had a coffin draped in a flag, Bush =Hitler banners, etc.....a bunch of old hippies and even more young punk "hippies".....not a decent looker among them. Had a big sign, "Now is the time to speak up". I agreed. It was just me, 1 guy, and I swear to God, I could not, even with the obscene shouts, get one of them to look me in the eye. Pussies.
