Im starting a Enclosed, 100% airtight grow dresser box .

Hey fellow green thumb's !

Im lookng to grow one plant in an airtight 5 foot tall dresser box. vent in and out, but my question is if i have air pumping through with a fan, do i have to have a fan going out or can i just run a plain pipe (duct) with out having a fan running out? will the intake fan just push the air out the duct going outside.....can i do it with just one fan ? please help

you'll want to go the other way around bro.
Check out in the hydroponics area under al/ b facts and harvest every 2 weeks. This guy talks a lot about venting that is very insightful.

Its because im concerned with the smell. See i grew in dirt last year and had like 5 in my closet. They turned out good but the guy up stairs ratted me out. I live in a basement apartment of a house. Now i just want to go hydro, no dirt. All im focusing on now is building my box. Its a small wardrobe thats got 5'ft high, 2'ft6inc wide and a foot and 3 quarters deep. Just enough for one plant. ..... so what do i need for venting? its gonna be air tight so it has to be. For the size of my area, whats the best idea?

Your exhaust fan should be rated to remove the warm air mass from the space in 3- 5 mins. I don't know what a quarter unit is
so for example, if the volume of your space 400 cubic feet
then you divide that by 3, then you would need a min of 133 cfm fan.
